Snow Hill

Nestled on the banks of the Pocomoke River, and adjacent to the expansive Pocomoke     Forest, Snow Hill is bountiful in scenic and recreational amenities.  In quintessential “Small Town America” fashion, its residents are proud and eager to share the history and natural assets of Snow Hill with the plethora of visitors who come every year to experience the adventure and leisure this charming town offers.

Boasting a mix of historic churches, homes, and other buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, strolling the streets is a treat for architecture and history enthusiasts alike. The shopping area is located in the heart of the historic district and offers a variety of services, shopping, and dining options ensuring a fun experience for all who venture
downtown.
The Pocomoke River is an adventure all on its own. Paddlers, birdwatchers, and fishermen flock to this river for its scenic qualities and abundance of wildlife. There are lots of water and hiking trails along the Pocomoke River and nearby Pocomoke River State Park and Forest. Canoe, kayak, standup paddle boards, and bikes are available for rent. Town parks also offer free public boat launches and easy access to the river.

You will also have the option of two river cruises. A guided river tour aboard a 22’ pontoon boat will carry you along the dark waters of the Pocomoke River into the dense bald cypress tree wetlands, where you will be sure to see bald eagles soar overhead, or herons and egrets fishing in the waters. The Black-Eyed Susan provides a fine dining experience aboard the Victorian-styled double-deck paddle boat. Book a cocktail, lunch, or dinner cruise for a relaxing and picturesque cruise down the Pocomoke River.
