Whitehaven Ferry

Its always a great trip across the Whitehaven Ferry. The staff are friendly and the views are nice. Great time and mileage saver.

Convenient ferry which drastically cuts down driving time. Call ahead as the ferry schedule depends on water condions. They always have up to date information as part of their greeting.

Oh my goodness, Whitehaven Ferry is an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, everything ran smoothly — the staff were friendly, the ferry was clean and well maintained, and the whole ride across the water was just beautiful. It’s so refreshing to have a place that actually operates like it’s supposed to, unlike Upper Ferry, which is always closed and seems to exist solely to frustrate visitors. If you want a stress-free, scenic, and reliable ferry experience, Whitehaven is the place to be — it makes you appreciate what a properly run ferry should be!
