VFW Post 7234

Best view of all service clubs that I am familiar with in Delaware and many other states. Good food. Friendly bartenders. Relaxing.

I'm a regular there. I do a lot of volunteering. A member of the auxiliary, help with their fundraisings. I've been a member of the auxiliary since 2000.

For those complaining about the cheesesteak night here are some observations:
1. Cheesesteaks are consistently good at a good price
2. This offering is very popular thus the number system to keep things flowing smoothly for the many people who attend
3. The cook and wait staff are all volunteer and they do a very good job
4. If you don't wish to wait too long suggest you go around 4 pm to get a lower number for service. There is still a wait but not overbearing.
5. If you do get a higher number then suggest you bring cards or some other way to enjoy the wait and practice fellowship with your other guests
6. The number of repeat guests attest to the popularity of this
Tuesday special. People just don't seem to mind.
7. The money spent helps keep this very active VFW going and doing many of the amazing things they do to support vets
8. Guests should not compare this private organization to regular taverns or restaurants. It is what it is and the VFW continually strives to improve
9. My wife and I are very glad we joined
