Trattoria Lombardi's Restaurant

Great pizza! The veggie pizza that is shown had extra cheese on half of it. The classic cheese was on point as well as the veggie pizza. Whenever my wife asks her uncle in DC what he wants us to bring him, he always says Lombardi's pizza. Yep. It's that good. 😎

We were looking for a quick bite to eat and this restaurant was directly across the street in walking distance from our hotel. It was a super low-key Wednesday, a small group of customers but not packed. We were told that the weekend coming up was Cruiser Week in Ocean City so the games had yet to begin.

I read the reviews about the pizza and the reviews were good. Ordered a half cheese & half veggie, caesar salad and a house salad. The salads were just regular and uneventful but the pizza was really good. Tasted freshly made and was ooey gooey with cheese. I really like the pizza and would come back for the pizza and maybe try some other menu items, they have a nice variety of items/dishes.

Found this little gem while visiting in Ocean City. It is easily accessible with free parking. I loved the old school family feel. It felt like Sunday Suppers at grandma’s. We started with a Caesar salad. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, fresh shaved Parmesan cheese coated the plate and a savory, crisp crouton. We then split the lombardi’s summer pizza. The cheese to crust ratio was on point, it had a perfect crunchy crust and the freshest tomatoes and spinach to top it off!! The second dish we shared was the veal parmigiana with penne pasta. The crispy crust texture with a buttery soft veal was aaaaaammmmmaaaaazzzzing!! The pasta was well seasoned and the sauce….omg just like grandma made. If you are looking for an excellent Italian meal with a touch of home….i highly recommend making this a stop!! Bon appetite
