Trattoria Lombardi's Restaurant

Lombardi’s Italian Restaurant was one of the best dining experiences we had in Ocean City! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and family-oriented. The beautiful photos throughout the restaurant added so much character and made the space feel inviting.

We enjoyed the lasagna, pizza, wine, and handcrafted mixed drinks, and every bite was absolutely delicious. One of my favorite touches was watching the fresh cheese being hand-grated right at our table—it made the meal feel extra special and authentic.

The owner personally took the time to walk us around, share recommendations, and make us feel right at home. That level of hospitality really stood out. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, and the restaurant was spotless, including the bathrooms.

Everything, from the food to the service and even the packaging for our leftovers, reflected attention to detail and pride in the customer experience.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian food, exceptional hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere in Ocean City, Lombardi’s is a must-visit. It’s the kind of place that turns a meal into a memorable experience, and I can’t wait to return!

One of our favorites has certainly taken a downturn lately. This one may be the last straw. Ordered takeout this time instead of our usual dining in. Meatball sub was ok, but not toasted like ones served inside. Cheese wasn't even fully melted. Pasta with shrimp and extra-charge vodka sauce had no sauce whatsoever. Didn't realize until we got home 20 minutes away. Called to inform them and they acted annoyed that I would question it and said bring it back so they could see it. Offered to send a photo because I'm not spending second 40 minute round trip picking up dinner. They offered a refund to my card which never materialized. Didn't refund the sauce upcharge or add-on tip that I added to the bill at pickup. Not our typical experience there, but might be the last. Mistakes happen, but the dismissive attitude and follow-up (or lack thereof) was even worse. Too many places to eat around here to put up with experiences like this.

Our family had a wonderful time at this restaurant. It’s a well-oiled machine that serves delicious food with a great ambiance and attentive service, you can tell they know how to run a business. A friendly man in the front( we assume the owner), came up to us after dinner to ask how we enjoyed our meal and shook our hands on the way out, thanking us for stopping in. This kind of hospitality is unfortunately lacking in today’s chain restaurants. Small gestures like these make a big difference in making customers feel welcome and valued. We loved the experience so much that we returned twice in a row and will return again if we are ever in the area
