Touch of Mediterranean

Touch of Mediterranean is excellent. This is a hidden jewel in Ocean City. I cannot recommend high enough.

I was visiting this part of town and had the opportunity to eat here twice. Everything was delicious- prepared perfectly and authentically. The menu is not huge, but I definitely enjoyed my choices. Chicken shawarma- excellent. Fries were cooked crispy and delicious. The dessert items are fresh and tasty.

I have had shawarma is a variety of locations and countries- shawarma here is right on point.

Service was super friendly and ordering online was a breeze. The young man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Portions were very good. The parking is a bit tight, but on street for a few minutes for a carry out is easy to find.

Highly recommended. Thanks for my dinner (twice).

This is HALAL place. It's written on the window with lights, and I also asked the guy who prepared our food.
I want to support Halal restaurants and show Halal eaters where such food is available, and that's the reason I started reviewing in the first place, but I want to be honest as well.
About this restaurant. I will give 5 stars, but we weren't 100% satisfied. Here is why.
-prices were kind of high. (Being from New York area, we are used to seeing lower prices on Halal food. Lamb over rice costs us $20+ tax, and chicken over rice $16 + tax and tips).
- Rice was cold. (We had a takeout. Our hotel was very near. We took the food, drove to the hotel, and opened the food. Meat was nicely warm, which was made in front of us, but rice was cold. I'm happy the room had a microwave. Otherwise, our $45 dinner would've been a big disappointment. I do want to mention that we ordered the food around 9 pm. I think this place closes around that time when off-season)
- When I opened the box with lamb, the unpleasant smell came out. I tried to make a face like I didn't notice anything, but my husband did, of course, and he questioned it. It was his food. I tried to defend the food by saying some lamb has weird smells. The meat can not be bad. And Thank God, the meat was ok. It was just the lamb smell..
The food itself tasted delicious. The chicken smelled and tasted great. Lamb tasted great.

So, I do recommend this restaurant, because the food tasted really good.
Also, they sell here acai bowls, coffee, ice cream, milkshakes, soda.
It's a nice small restaurant with a big variety of food and beverages.

Love this place for the convenience of being open 24 hours and offering something for everyone.
whether it's Mediterranean food, donuts, or ice cream! We stopped by for food and we were surprised by the quality of the food they serve and the taste.
Their service is outstanding and professional. My kids love the food there. They also serve ice cream. They had a great selection of Hershey's ice cream, as well as toppings for sundaes.
