The Shark on the Harbor Restaurant

I came based on high recommendation and here's my take:

The burger was tasty, sizeable, and inexpensive at $11. The oysters on half shell were steep given that they were local - $18 for 6 ($3 per oyster). They were very very small but tasty nonetheless. The beer on tap is well priced at $5 and refreshing. The friendliness of the bartender made my day. We sat at the bar, and chatted while eating and watching Sunday football.

We could tell that this was a locals spot, everyone seemed to know everyone and they even brought their own beer Koosies 😆 Most of them were very friendly, a few could use an attitude adjustment though.

I would return again. Next time I'll sit facing the gorgeous water view.

I must say I had to come back and eat here twice 😋 the swordfish is so tender juicy and ever so flavorful! I loved the mashed potatoes it comes with matches the flavor profile of the swordfish so well topped off with the howler colada perfect 👌 my new favorite restaurant of all time so far... We ate here on the 4th. Made reservations on the 3rd because they were completely booked on the 3rd. I chose this place because they said their menu is fresh everyday based on what they caught, I think that's partially true, but I'm still glad we went. We started our evening off with a few small plates: shrimp and lobster dip, fried oysters, and stuffed avocado. The dip was freaking amazing. The oysters were great after you take off the blueberries. The stuffed avocado was good and weird. It had spicy tuna salad which was fantastic. I actually picked off pieces of my daughter's shrimp and lobster dip bread to eat it. The avocado was lightly breaded and either fried or baked. All of it was placed on top of a honey like drizzle. The avocado warm which is weird in itself, but it really just didn't hit the spot. I think fresh avocado would have been perfect with the spicy tuna. The sweet drizzle.... was just a big fat no. For the main dishes, we ordered a burger and a crab cake sandwich which both came with fries. The burgers were excellent. No change recommended. My husband and daughter joked that wanted a second round of the burgers to go. The crab cake was ok. My daughter bit into several shells one was really big which turned her off so she stopped eating after a few bites. Susan was a good waitress. I think she was really busy. She started off very attentive but again became very busy as the evening went on. Regardless, we'd eat there again.
