UNEQUALED BOUTIQUE HOTELS
The quiet bayside of Ocean City with memorable sunsets.
Built on the edge of the bay between The Lighthouse Club and Fager's Island Restaurant & Bar. 12 individually designed and furnished suites-Beautifully done.
Our History: In 1975, John Fager built Fager’s Island on 60th Street on the bay. The restaurant, with its open-air atmosphere and decks, live plants and picturesque sunset views, was different than anything else in Ocean City at the time, and it was a success, quickly evolving from a seasonal venture to a year-round destination.
The all-suites Lighthouse Club Hotel — two bridge crossing from fager’s Island restaurant, The Edge — was built in 1978. The building, modeled after the Thomas Point Shoal Light on the Chesapeake Bay, hosted three different restaurants until Fager bought the building and converted it into a hotel in 1988. Still, even with the success of the restaurant next-door, opening a bayside hotel was a risk.

The rooms are all facing the bay, and we relaxed, watched the horseshoe crabs in the shallows below us, and walked to local restaurants. Great trip to unwind!
I’m from Boston, he’s from New York, and we drove in, and from the very first phone call just to ask questions, the energy and pleasantness were top tier. You can feel it right away.
We already said this is going to be an annual trip for us. We literally do not want to leave.
The lounge area overlooking the ocean? Absolutely amazing. So cozy, peaceful, and just beautiful.
And the little touches… the fresh cookies 🍪 every day at 3pm? My goodness.
The rooms are super clean, the amenities are thoughtful, and everything in the area, food, vibes, all of it, just GOOD, good, GOOD.
This place is a whole experience. We stayed at the Edge- Safari room.
