Sushi Cafe

Small place but incredible sushi and atmosphere. Very friendly staff and quick service. The Yeti roll was beyond our expectations of deliciousness and the others were amazing too!

This place is so fresh and delicious! This is the spicy tuna, ocean & 8, and red dragon roll. Then we got some sashimi & nigiri. The people working here were also so nice, and had great service. We will definitely come back!

After trying a couple of other sushi restaurants that locals recommended, I had given up on finding an “okay” sushi restaurant in Ocean City. Another couple from the city recommended Sushi Cafe, so I knew I had to give it a try, and I’m elated with joy that I did!

I went the second day of reopening for the 2024 season, right at 5pm, and I’m thankful they were able to seat me. This place is small, like smaller than small. There’s a handful of tables, with roughly 10 seats at the sushi bar. The server and staff were attentive and gave me time to look at the menu, which is impressive for multiple reasons. The specialty rolls are creative, and they are significantly cheaper than the other local sushi restaurants. I ordered the Torpedo and Yeti Roll. Both were flavorful and I love that the pieces are bite size, as sushi should be! The fish was fresh and devout of the “fishy” smell.

Sushi Cafe is beyond just “okay”. They are phenomenal and even rival one of my favorite places in DC. Their menu is small and straight to the point. The chefs work efficiently and streamline their processes to get food to the customers, with minimal wait time. I will definitely be returning to Sushi Cafe on a weekly basis.
