Surf Villa Hotel

My husband (insert side eye here) booked this hotel for a weekend. I would not call myself high maintenance by a long shot. But this is definitely you are getting what you pay for. Rooms are very small, dated. Had to hook tv up to my hotspot for it to work. We had to DoorDash a fan because the room was so hot (definitely needs updated ac units). Bathroom is a whole other story on its own. My husband is 6’4 and barely fit in the shower/bathroom. The water pressure and temp is some of the worst I have seen. To me this is a place great for younger kids, that want a trip without the high cost. If being comfortable is a priority to you, I would pay a little more and go somewhere else.
I personally would not come back.

Me and my girl stayed in the third floor of this establishment. I really enjoyed it, front desk was nice and made the place feel like a home. Always helped me when I had problems. Only two things I could complain about are not being able to check out an hour late and the size of the bathroom but other than that everything was perfect and we had an amazing experience.

The location was the biggest positive—it was within walking distance of the beach and boardwalk, which made it very convenient.

Unfortunately, there were several issues during our stay. The bathroom was extremely small, and the shower had almost no water pressure. We were also disappointed to find out that parking cost extra, as this wasn’t made clear upfront.

Another concern was that we left for breakfast and returned to find our room door open after housekeeping had been in the room. Since the hotel uses keypad locks, this was very concerning from a security standpoint. We also weren’t informed until checkout that we were expected to return the towels and other room items ourselves, even though they were already provided in the room.

While the location is excellent, the lack of communication, security concern, and overall room experience left us disappointed. I hope these issues are addressed for future guests.
