Southpole Ice Cream Roll

Neat place. We went to the one in West OC, so I can’t speak to the one near the boardwalk, but it was a real treat watching our ice cream rolls get made.

Parking is sketch at best. Nowhere does it say pay to park in the upper lot. Instead you’re greeted by a man in flip flops and casual clothes demanding money and saying he will tow you & then another older man on a cell phone pacing around the lot. Felt scammy & I wasn’t giving money or my credit card number to them, so we left. Paid parking was not advertised and nor was any pricing. Felt like a very odd way of doing business.
