Our room was fantastic. The room was huge and was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was well set. There wasn’t a speck of dust to be seen. (I’m assuming this room was recently renovated.) we enjoyed our stay here.

The staff was accommodating and the complimentary beach chairs were such a help. There is a staff member who sits on the beach and sets up your umbrella and chairs for you.

We had a great stay. Beds were comfy. Beachfront location is awesome, neighborhood has plenty of food options. Access to bikes and outdoor bathroom was a premium! Coffee machine and local coffee was great- not disappointed! Chairs and umbrellas at the beach were convenient but it’s first come first served so get there early! We did not take advantage of having access to ALoft but that is a good perk too. Parking was always available. Staff was friendly.

The AC was not quiet (not loud but you’ll def hear the fan) which is why I gave a 4- I know that bothers some people. We had 2 rooms and fit 6 adults/5 kids comfortably. We were outdoors most of the day so having a clean, comfortable place that is close to everything suited us perfectly. We enjoyed our stay at SeaLoft and would come back again.

We are frequent OC visitors. This was our first time staying at SeaLoft which is located around Midtown OC (maybe 45th St)
First Impression was good; Exterior is well maintained, staff was friendly, and check in went smoothly. Lobby has decent coffee avail throughout the day.
Our room (and presumably all the others) was decorated in a fun Mid Century Modern/Retro Chic style that we very much enjoyed.
Sea Loft is pet friendly, and as such, our room had engineered flooring/tile, which IMO is preferable to carpet.
Our room was Ocean Front with an amazing view and a balcony.
Which brings me to the BAD:
The one thing we definitely did not appreciate, the outdoor lights on the balcony are on a timer and can not be shut off. The light was jarringly bright, which made sitting on the balcony after dark unpleasant, both due to the light intensity and the fact it attracted bugs. WHY is there no switch? Equally vexxing was the fact that the curtains on the sliding door to the balcony...THEY DO NOT mask all that bright ass annoying light from filtering into the room... which kept me up late and will keep us from returning in the future.
One other oddity to mention, there was nonstop music playing in the HALLWAYS, and it would occasionally get so loud as be audible inside our room. Like so loud that we thought it was our neighbors in the adjacent room. Strange, but isolated.
