Quality Inn Boardwalk

I was looking for a hotel with access to both the boardwalk and the beach and this hotel had both. I decided to book an extended stay for a weekend as a nice Fall Getaway. This hotel was really a great find. Being in October, the rates were great and parking was on-site. A very safe location too. Had a very easy time extending my reservation an extra day, thanks to both Michael and Lee at Guest Services. Room had a partial view, and could sleep up to 6 people. Highly recommend this hotel, a member of the Harrison Hotel Group in Ocean City, and a Choice Hotel Brand. Not a “high-end” 5-star hotel by hotel-rating standards but one that definitely gets the job done for a trip away. Thanks Quality Inn Boardwalk!

To be honest, this hotel is definitely out dated and needs to be updated from the elevator, furniture, rug, kitchen sink, bathroom and appliances. Just about everything looks 20 years old and it shows. So if you like upscale, this hotel is not it; BUT the VIEW from the oceanfront rooms of the ocean and boardwalk are AWESOME and the space in the double queen size beds with kitchenette are GREAT for 4 people. Definitely, LOVED the full kitchen. Restaurant is good. Indoor pool is okay, but needs cleaning. Even with these gripes, I would still recommend staying here. Besides, you come to ocean city to be outside, but management has to make a decision to invest and do some work and TLC to upgrade. The real highlight though was the OUTSTANDING HOSPITALITY from MIKE and IRINA. They were SUPER AWESOME. THEY SHOULD BE AMBASSADORS OF HOW YOU TREAT HOTEL GUESTS. DEFINITELY GIVE THEM A RAISE OR BUMP THEM UP TO MANAGEMENT.

Last year our room was not cleaned very well. This year it was spotless. Some updating is needed though. Lamp shades have holes and are falling apart. Drapes need to be replaced and sofas and chairs need to be deep cleaned. Other than that, the location we had (ocean front) was perfect. I do want to mention that a man at the front desk both times we stayed here was rude, merely grunted when asked a question and when I told him I needed some supplies in my room. First impressions are very important, so this should be dealt with ASAP. Off-putting to say the least.
