People working there are friendly. Free washer and dryer is a plus . Pools are great . Locations is great. Clean hotel .We were in room 510 when we walked in we smelled mold and thought maybe it was just because it was closed up. But by day 3 we were all sick went to Walmart pharmacy helped us as best as they could . It’s seemed to be coming from the air conditioner. Smell was awful. Also the screen door was all black mold. Now on day five we have left and are headed home sick two young kids also. So I would of rated it a 5 but because of this issue do not stay there . People at the pool were having same issues as us.

Stayed 5 nights for a family vacation. We had a 2 queen, sofa bed, kitchenette room with ocean view on a top floor. Our room was very clean and comfortable. By no means is this an upscale hotel, however the staff were friendly and helpful.
Good: The oceanfront room with a balcony was wonderful. The location of the hotel can't be best. It's literally a minute walk to get on the beach with all your beach gear. It's on the quieter end of the boardwalk, but not so far that you couldn't walk to the south end where there is more to do. Everything was very clean. With the beach so close, tons of water and sand get dragged in on the floors and the pools but staff were cleaning it seemed 24/7.
Bad: parking is tight and challenging especially for a bigger vehicle. There is a parking lot across the street for the hotel (that the checkin staff didn't tell me about). When I figured that out, it was a little easier. Their WiFi wouldn't connect to my kids Amazon Tablets or Nintendo Switches, despite following all the prompts and sign in instructions. WiFi worked on our phones.
Overall: Would stay again in the same type of room

Great Location & Friendly Staff, But Avoid Room 123
We recently stayed at the Quality Inn Boardwalk in Ocean City, MD. The location is fantastic, right on the boardwalk, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived and was set to stay at Quality Inn Oceanfront but we wanted Boardwalk, and they were able to get us into the only room they had left, which we appreciated.
However, there were some significant downsides. The room had a musty, wet smell, and while there was a dehumidifier, it didn’t really help much. The floors were filthy — walking around in socks turned them black almost instantly. The shower leaked constantly and never fully shut off, which was frustrating. Honestly, if I were Quality Inn, I wouldn’t rent out this room under any circumstances until these issues are addressed. We will stay at Quality Inn again but this time a real room.
