It's ok. Decent prices. Definitely needs updating. We had no hot water for 2 days. Also sliding door stuck and we were stranded on the balcony for about 30 minutes until I was able to get the door free. Friendly staff

Paid extra for an ocean view. Could not enjoy sitting on the balcony for the view because other visitors were smoking weed on a balcony below us. We ere there with our grand daughter and specifically picked this motel because of the great location to the beach, the kitchenette to use for her mac and cheese, among her other favorites. If you have kids, you know you have to pack food to supplement the kids menu choices at restaurants. We thought that when we put her to bed at night, we could enjoy setting on the balcony with some cold drinks. I complained to the desk clerks several times but nothing was done. This motel was full of families with kids. I don't think alot of parents and grand parents want the kids exposed to secondary smoke.. It wasn't just a few puffs but sustained smoking for several hours , one joont after another. In the morning, foget about enjoying a cup of coffee and taking your free breakfast.upstairs to eat on your balcony.. You .won't be able to sit out there.

Loved the location, close to the beach and lots to do ! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool was great and the bar staff was super friendly! We loved Tristan! (The bar isn’t affiliated with the hotel but is on hotel property). Overall had a great stay and the price was great. Only complaint is two of the staff at the desk were very unfriendly and didn’t honor early check in after we called to confirm it was going to be ready. But other than that all other staff was friendly. The breakfast was nice and convenient. Overall good trip, will def be staying again!
