Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort

Love this hotel! It 's great for a quick weekend or a long stay especially w the kids! Location is perfect of course because it's right on the beach but also because it's within walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious! The staff is friendly and helpful. Had a great experience both times we have stayed here and plan to return next year !

My company just recently had an event and it was truly a nightmare from a staff and coordination perspective. One of their staff members was so rude to me in front of my board members that even are bored was astonished by the level of unprofessionalism that the entire staff was exhibiting the entire weekend we were there. The bartender Sam, is absolutely wonderful! There were a couple of servers as well as the Assistant engineer who was amazing. As far as the event coordinators and event staff, they were absolutely Unprofessional and did not give our group the attention that we paid for and deserved. No one was ever there to check on us either morning of our conference, we had to use texts To communicate with their staff when we were the only event on the property. I held a board meeting Friday night, a staff member used the spa sign to prop, The door open with, a spa employee came through, took the sign back, locked me out of my board room door in which we were now late for our meeting and told me I shouldn’t have taken their sign. (Which I didn’t) I should’ve known that the meeting was not going to go well that weekend. I found their staff to be very rude and lazy. Even our clients complained about interactions that they had with their staff; we were considering coming back to this venue, even with the Event staff, knowing we were considering returning, they still did not even try to accommodate things that we had asked for prior to coming, Let alone going above and beyond. The only reason I’m leaving two stars instead of one is because the food is outstanding. Definitely stay there for the weekend. Stay there for a vacation. Do not throw an event there. It is absolutely a nightmare situation. I was humiliated by their staff on multiple occasions.

The hotel is right on the beach which is a huge plus and very convenient to anyone that loves spending time on the beach. Some issues was that the doors don’t always shut so had to constantly make sure it was closed upon leaving every time. My room had had an AC issue wasn’t working first day until I had them come fix it which took a while.

Room was decent sized space for kids to move around. The stove tops didn’t work so wasn’t able to use the kitchen during our stay. Tv constantly had to be fix the cable wasn’t working properly in my room during stay.
