Paradise Plaza Inn

The room is large, the balcony is large, and has 2 chaise lounges. The room is also outdated and the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. We have a jetted tub but I won't be using it because it doesn't look clean. THERE IS NO TV. No, I didn't come to the beach to watch TV but I like to watch a show before I go to bed. I called the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do because the wifi doesn't support the TV. You're really getting the bare minimum here. Aside from that, the location is amazing! The views are amazing! Directly on the boardwalk and beach.

I don’t even want to talk about this place. What went wrong, more like what went right? Don’t believe everything you read. Things aren’t always what they seem. Any 5 star review is completely invalid. If you enjoy antiquated, dirty, and uncomfortable places, then Paradise Plaza Inn is for you.

The service at the hotel was average until the workers got wind of issues which arose. Once this happened, I was made out to be public enemy number one in their eyes. As soon as I realized this after one night, my friends and I decided to pack our bags and check out early. Thankfully, we decided to stay at a quality resort down the street for the remainder of the vacation and had a great experience despite what had happened.

Side Note: Now it’s to the point where they’re refusing to refund 2/3 nights where I didn’t utilize their services. The owner made up some fabricated story about our interaction during the early checkout just so she could avoid having to refund me. What a travesty.

Please don’t make the same mistake that I did. There are better options.

Disappointed After a Once-Wonderful Stay. I have stayed here before over 6 years ago and it was wonderful. My experience this time was not so good. Our room was paid for 2 months in advance. When I called and spoked with representative twice that answered the phone, I asked about the taphouse restaurant and if they were still giving coupons $10 a day for the restaurant, I was told yes I would be given the restaurant coupons plus six other coupons I got to pick at myself. Check-In went easy. I received my coupons I picked out online but I never got the tap House coupons. The taphouse restaurant no longer exists. It's a bar and a restaurant that opens in the evening only. No coupons for that. I checked in my room I requested an accessible room I needed the grab bars in the tub. The room was not clean. The grab bars in the bathroom were covered with drywall dust, which made them very slippery. So before I could even do anything I had to clean the whole room. The floor still had sand on it all over. Cleaning service never existed. I placed the maid service sign on the door knob. When I got back at 4:00 thinking the room was clean. My sign was on the floor under my door room. Never clean trash piled up so I had to flag down the cleaning and she proceeds to ask me. What do you need? I said oh just give me some towels that was it. Again, we left the room following days. Put the sign up. We come back the signs under our door. Trash was piled up all over the floor. Towels were all in the corner of the bathroom. Nothing was done again. I flagged down the girl and she's asked me what do you need and I'm like. What do you mean? What do I need? I wanted the room cleaned well. What do you want done? I did not know I had to tell room service what needed to be cleaned because if they want it that way they should have a checklist that you put on the sign on the door cuz again I came back at 4:00 and I had no towels or no. Nothing in the room wasn't cleaned. I didn't know I had to tell them every single detail. I figured they had common sense to see a pile dirty towels on the floor and trash piling up and I had to ask for toilet paper. I will never go back there again. The hotel is pet friendly but the people that go there with pets need to control their pets. I do not want a dog jumping on me. I should not have to tell somebody to pull their dog back when I'm getting and ready to step on the elevator and then when I ask them to pull their dog back they get mad. I also heard dog barking at night. Why am I being woken up by a barking dog. Never again. My main concern was cleansiness and that's what they put on their website, They take pride in cleanliness. That is also why I picked the hotel. Their cleaning staff needs better training. I would never pick a hotel without room service and they specifically say they have it everyday. Never again. I forgot to mention the bed pillows. There was four pillows on each bed and they were lumpy flat squares, in which the pillowcase needed to be folded twice because the pillows were so small. They need to invest in decent pillows
