Ocean 1 Hotel & Suites

Me and my family took a small little vacation and we decided to here for a night. Well when we had got here it was OK at first till we got to the room. When we hit the room there was sand all over the floor and it looked like all they did was remake beds and leave. Well later on that night we had went out got some beer and my husband and brother was drinking and kids where being kids well next thing we know we had them coming up saying we was being to loud and and to not smoke on the balcony. Well why have a balcony if you can't. Any other hotel u can since you are outside anyways Well then we had another knock on the door saying to keep down that we was not aloud to laugh and have fun and my husband has a deep voice so pretty much they wanted him to whisper. The hotel is not family friendly if u have little kids . The only reason we even stayed here is my husband booked the wrong hotel and payed and they wouldn't give us our money I recommend that u don't stay here its not worth money the only thing nice about it is that u are on the boardwalk and close to everything. BUT I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I EVER STAYED IN. I will be calling corporate to see what I can do about all this

Do not stay at this hotel. We had booked a room for 4 nights ocean front with a Jacuzzi for $424 a night. When we went to check in we was told there is no ocean front room with Jacuzzi available for the night, so they moved us to regular room and said they will move us in one the next day. Next day we we moved rooms. A day later I get a phone call demanding us to empty our room out because they double booked the room again. Moved us to a even smaller room that was looked like some one was killed in in it. Remove sheets to find bed have huge blood stains, wall paper was falling off the walls with mold covering the walls and showers. Tons of hair all over the bathroom with cockroachs on the nightstand . We left and check in to another hotel. I will never stay at this hotel ever again and would highly recommend any one to never stay there.

First time trying this hotel, but I come to OCM every year. We normally stay further north up the boardwalk, but wanted to stay more in the lower part and this hotel is a good location. It’s right on the boardwalk and a great looking building. The prices are very good here and the staff is wonderful. Very helpful. The cons are there’s no parking right at the hotel, just maybe 8 spots always filled, so you have to park away. The other thing is the mattress was too soft, that gave me a backache. Otherwise the room was large and very clean. I will return.
