Mother's Cantina

We hosted a private Jeeps & Tacos meetup in the”Taco Shop” and had an absolute great time at Mother’s Cantina! Chill Vibes, great drinks and perfect place to reconnect with friends. We had around 50 come and go over a two hour window and they did a great job at keeping up with the crowd. Bonus points for the Great custom happy hour and Duck Marg!

Great meal. I had the steak enchiladas, wife had the steak fajita burrito. Our daughter had chicken tenders and fries. Chips and salsa came out almost immediately after being seated. Great salsa. We ordered and our food was out within 10 minutes. Very fast. Everything was as expected. Portions were very large. My only complaint was our waiter never checked on us as I could have used a glass of water. Also he was pretty slow to bring containers and the check but that's minor. Meal was excellent! Will be back for sure

Mother’s Cantina in OCMD absolutely blew us away. The triple stack fajita is on another level — nearly a pound of shrimp, a full chicken breast, and what tasted like a filet mignon (definitely not your standard carne asada). Every protein was cooked perfectly, and the seasoning was dialed in across the board.

The depth of flavor was unlike anything I’ve had before. It honestly felt like the recipes and spices were sourced from all over the world — intentional, layered, and incredibly well executed. The fajita veggies were charred just right and actually seasoned (which almost never happens).

We also had the Baltimore-inspired Kisslings wings, and somehow they were even better than the original. Incredible food, great execution, and a spot that clearly cares about doing things the right way. This is a must-stop in Ocean City.
