Monte Carlo Condos Ocean City

The room, stove, microwave, toaster, and bathroom were dirty, the AC only worked in one room the floor had a hole that was covered with a rug, doors didn't close properly blinds were broken, and bed sheets were dirty. They had no housekeeping on site for the 3 days we stayed, we cleaned the place n changed the sheets ourselves . I truly feel this place needs to be closed and renovated and the photos they show are not what you get.

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels over the years in Ocean City. Our first room was not even cleaned before there was dirt and grease all over the fridge. The sink had dirt and crumbs in it, the burners on the stove were filthy. There were Blinds that were broken and on the ground .There was a family above us who was loud all day and night long they ended up switching our room. Prior to switching our room, the lady at the front kept saying to please hold on while they figured things out, then she told us to pack our bags. They were moving us, when we came down, she told us that she never said that. They ended up switching our room when we spoke with somebody different. which we appreciated. The place is not well-maintained.The pool for the condos was filthy. Front desk, staff and supervisors are very rude and unprofessional. The only thing I can say is once they switched our room, it was cleaner than the first and the second room had much more room.

Booked an impromptu trip to Ocean City, about an 8 hr drive from home. The room looked nothing at all like the pictures. That is not the only bad part.

First thing was the outside common areas. They have not been cleaned in forever. Thick dust on the handrails of every surface. Bird poop and mold on the outside walls and the pipes for the sprinkler system have never seen stream of water from a hose.

We get to the room and paint on the outside door was bubbling and was just not good! When tried to get in the room, we had to shoulder the door just to get in. The bottom corner of the door was rotted and looked like it was chewed on.

Inside the room, again, looked nothing like any of the pictures on line. There was hair in the fridge. The TV in the room with one bed was not even mounted on the wall in front of the bed. The blinds on the door to get out to the patio were broken. That door too was hard to open. The mattress went completely flat with hard core wiring that came out from the sides as soon as any weight was placed on them. The shower head was good if you are not any taller than 5'3". The drain was also very slow!

The balcony outside was totally useless as there was bird poop that was everywhere and you can tell has never been cleaned off. The mold on the cement was never taken off. The plastic chairs outside looked very brittle and faded and I would not trust them to hold anything more than a toddler. They were covered in bird poop as well. The wall was covered in bird poop and mold and the rust on the backside of the air conditioner and dripping down the wall gave me an instant desire to get a tetanus shot!

The killer part was the envelope on the counter asking for tips for the cleaning crew!

The location was great, parking okay and that is the good part. Next trip we will be looking to stop somewhere else.
