Holiday Inn & Suites Ocean City

The common areas and suite itself were clean and spacious for a good deal. Only thing that could have been better about the room would be a smart TV. Beautiful views, perfect location on the boardwalk. Heated outdoor pool, but the indoor pool was in the middle of the restaurant. Only downside was the breakfast, we paid for the breakfast package and it came with a limited menu and about an hour wait time. The full menu looked great, I would recommend skipping the package and ordering regularly because the prices were about the same for more variety and better food.

Loved this place. Beautiful sunrises on the beach. Staff was so nice. Restaurant was great! 2 pools on the beach. If you like the beach but not the sand this does the trick. Rooms are spacious. We had a kitchen that we didn't really use but it was nice. The only downside is the tubs are super outdated and high walled. For a short person it is difficult to get in and out. For a person with mobility issues address that when booking. There is a bike and mobility scooter rental to the left of the hotel when going out towards the beach and boardwalk. We went to Assateague National park on this stay which is very close by car. We would definitely book here again.

We have stayed here for several years - first with kids and now as a couple. Over the years, we liked staying at this hotel since it is right on the boardwalk, multiple amenities, and safe. But the last couple of years it seems that things have changed.
The price to stay here for a week has skyrocketed. We have over looked it initially since there is a full kitchen where we can cook a few times a week and save money by doing so. But this year when they initiated a $10 / night for parking and telling us that all the hotels in OC are doing this, we are starting to change our minds about staying here in the future. We feel we are getting hit in too many ways - increase price of the hotel stay and now the parking fee. I understand it was a corporate decision but in the same breath it seems unreasonable.
The pots and pan have so many marks and deeps cuts in them that we started to bring our own. There is mold by the tub and most of the time the screen doors to the patio sticks or doesn't work properly. I can go on and on but I will end with this.
Next year we will be staying somewhere else. I think it is time for a change as much as we enjoyed staying here in the past.
