Hampton Inn & Suites Ocean City/Bayfront-Convention Center

Hampton Inn at Ocean City was a nice experience. I came mainly to go see the wild horses at Assateague Island and in hopes of getting some great seafood (I got the seafood pizza from one of the local shops it was great).

Only thing was the balcony door was not able to shut or open properly but the hotel was quick to create a solution while we were there.

Also I must say it is always nice to have a decent free weight gym at the hotel so in the down time from being at the broad walk or out and about you can get a great pump in.

I recommend this location and it looks like a lot of fun in the summer time!

I stayed Here during the off season with my family for my 3 year olds birthday. We got joining queen rooms: myself, my husband, my 2 daughters (14,10) and my son. The kids had a ball. The rooms were nice and clean. My girls enjoyed the pool. The hotel needs updating. The windows in the indoor pool area were desperately in need of cleaning. You could also see the hotel’s age in certain areas like rusted over pipes in the pool area. The breakfast left a lot to be desired but i guess You get what you pay for. Lastly, they allow dogs at this hotel so be wary if you are allergic or don’t care for them. I think The carpets in the common areas can use a good cleaning because i am Allergic to dogs and i was sneezing and itchy my entire stay. There was one front desk person that was friendly but otherwise the staff wasn’t the friendliest. I think i expecting more hospitality as we were visiting from NY.

We loved the hotel. It makes a good impression when you walk into the lobby from outside. I liked the breakfast and sitting area of the lobby. Check-in was easy, and we were given 2 bottles of water as a complimentary welcome gift.
The room was clean and spacious. Room temperature was warm, which made us feel comfortable right away (we traveled off season, end of November)
The bathroom was clean.
The view of the bay was beautiful. Very peaceful. We enjoyed the balcony just by looking at the bay and surroundings.
Hot breakfast, which we enjoyed. For vegetarians, among hot food, you can take scrambled eggs, fried potatoes with skin, and waffles. There are 3 waffle makers, so much less waiting time. There were fresh blueberries, apples, and bananas.
The breakfast area has a huge wooden dining table in the middle with high chairs around it. Also, there are 2 and 4 people tables as well.
We really enjoyed our breakfast here.
The pool area was always busy. Water in the pool was kind of cold, so everyone was on the hot tub... We waited maybe 30-40 minutes, and mostly kids were going into a hot tub, so adults had to come out. We didn't enjoy pool amenities at all. There was another small tub which looked like a hot tub, but water There was cold. Everyone came, dipped their feet, and walked away.
The pool area looked old, and it needs a renovation.
Everything was great except for the pool. I don't want to reduce stars because of it .
There is a nice business center with 2 computers and a printer.
There is a gym.
There is an outdoor pool for summer time.
A big free parking lot is located in front of the hotel. It was full, but we were lucky to get parking in front of the hotel.
