Great location to visit Assateague Island and Ocean City. My room was spacious and breakfasts were good. Pool water was cold. Could stand to be heated if it has one. The sink near door (room 425) leaks underneath. I had a bag of ice in sink. As it melted water dripped underneath in cabinet. Housekeeping came in and cleaned, made up beds, but didn’t leave new towels. I had to ask for some. Finally, the designated smoking area is near the entrance where patrons have to smell it. Need to move that. The staff at front desk were helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

Editing to respond to the owner's comment, I did reach out to customer service regarding our experience on June 16 which is now over two weeks ago; however, no one has bothered to actually follow-up with me aside from me being given a case number and 25,000 points. Obviously, nothing can change the fact that we checked into a dirty hotel room and ended up cleaning it ourselves; however, an email response from the owner acknowledging the issues would have been nice.

I will start by saying that we previously stayed here in June 2025 and had a great experience. I am not sure what has happened over the last 12 months, but this summer's stay was vastly different compared to last year's. We chose to do online check-in and utilize a mobile key so we went straight to our room. When we entered our room, one of the beds had a visibly soiled comforter. This was not just stains that did not come out in the wash, this looked like the previous guests spilled something on the bed and it was not changed. I then pulled back the sheets to see if those looked clean and they also appeared to be dirty and had hair all over them. My husband and I went straight to the front desk to address the issue, assuming they would send someone to clean our room. The front desk attempted to move us to another room; however, there were no other suites available and we had to decline just a 2 queen room since we are a family of 5 and needed the pull out sofa. We asked if we could just get the bed changed and were then told that housekeeping had left for the day and that the front desk would "have to do it". This made us feel that this was an inconvenience for them to deal with so we told them to just give us the linens and we would handle it ourselves. We told them what we needed and headed back to our room to change the dirty bed.

After getting the bed changed, I started to unpack our toiletries and noticed that there was a used bar of soap in the shower from the previous guests so obviously that had not been cleaned very well. Since we knew that there was no housekeeping and the front desk seemed bothered when we needed our bed to have clean sheets, I decided just to handle cleaning the shower. Luckily, I had some clorox wipes in our car and used those to wipe down the shower.

2.5 overall. The room needed a deep cleaning. We had long black hairs everywhere - to include the beds and the bathroom. There was a lot of dust on common surfaces, the air conditioner, and the lamps. I cleaned it myself to make it habitable. Additionally the breakfast was subpar. I was very disappointed. Lastly, the pool should only be classified as a kiddie pool. It pales in comparison to the comfort in next door. I would not stay again even though you accept dogs.
