The moment we stepped off of the elevators on 22nd floor we knew we wanted to get married here. Melissa the venue coordinator actually reached out to me on a wedding event website about being considered as a venue, and we are so happy she did. Golden sands absolutely gives you a chance to have a more budgeted beach wedding. We were prepared with options to have a beautiful wedding ceremony rain or shine. When we arrived our tables were set ready for us to add decor. Melissa even sent me a picture of our tables as she was setting them up the week of our wedding. Melissa, her bartender, and staff, provided exceptional service on our wedding day. They really helped make it the best day ever!

Our wedding at Golden Sands Ocean Resort was everything I could have dreamed of and more. The ocean view was absolutely beautiful — the perfect backdrop for our big day!

From my very first tour of The Atrium Room at Golden Sands Resort I knew I wanted to get married here. Not only is this venue affordable for those on a budget, but the beach area is so beautiful for ceremonies!! And if you’re getting married here and there’s a chance of rain, you still have the option to have a beautiful ceremony upstairs in the Atrium Room which is just stunning! I couldn’t have been more happy with how my wedding turned out and a big part of that is thanks to the wonderful staff at Golden Sands Resort, and of course their event manager/coordinator, Melissa Mattie. Melissa is a breath of fresh air! She’s friendly and easy to talk to, which is very important when you’re planning a wedding. You don’t want to be working with someone who doesn’t love their job, and I can tell Melissa LOVES her job and she takes it very seriously! She went above and beyond for us to make sure everything was perfect for our wedding day. I couldn’t be more grateful and happy with how our wedding day turned out, it was a beautiful day from start to finish. If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars I would. I highly recommend having a wedding or any other classy events at Golden Sands, you will not regret it!!!
