Golden Sands Ocean Resort

My stay was at the end of August 2025, and the Golden Sands was the perfect getaway! It's located close enough to the action if you're looking to explore Ocean City, but far enough that you're not bombarded with the noise if you're looking to relax and unwind. The resort itself has plenty of activities for all ages, whether you enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, shuffleboard, billiards, the arcade, shopping, and so much more. I especially love the tiki bar! The resort also offers special events for all ages.

Parking is assigned, and checking in/out was a breeze. The unit I stayed in for the week was perfect and had absolutely everything I needed including in unit washer/dryer. The view from the balcony, especially the sunrise, was a huge plus.

The moment we stepped off of the elevators on 22nd floor we knew we wanted to get married here. Melissa the venue coordinator actually reached out to me on a wedding event website about being considered as a venue, and we are so happy she did. Golden sands absolutely gives you a chance to have a more budgeted beach wedding. We were prepared with options to have a beautiful wedding ceremony rain or shine. When we arrived our tables were set ready for us to add decor. Melissa even sent me a picture of our tables as she was setting them up the week of our wedding. Melissa, her bartender, and staff, provided exceptional service on our wedding day. They really helped make it the best day ever!

Our wedding at Golden Sands Ocean Resort was everything I could have dreamed of and more. The ocean view was absolutely beautiful — the perfect backdrop for our big day!

A huge thank you to Melissa for all the care and kindness she showed us. She made sure everything went smoothly and that we felt special from start to finish.
