Gateway Hotel & Suites, Ascend Hotel Collection

Originally, we were supposed to stay at the hotel next door. After issues with there being mold, we walked to the Gateway and sure enough they had availability. The staff here was beyond accommodating and helpful. They got us booked immediately and made it work so that our vacation was not ruined. Every employee we encountered was kind, and wanted to make sure we were having a good vacation. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious. We will definitely be returning

One of the best stays that we’ve had so far. The front desk staff (Josh and Carol) made everything fantastic! From recommending local places to getting us a pretty wicked room, Josh made our stay just that much better. Carol as well! Housekeeping was amazing. The rooms were clean and if you wanted them to came by daily to remake the beds, drop off fresh towels, and vacuum. The location is pretty spot on. While it may not be directly on the beach it’s close enough to walk to either the boardwalk or the bay side of town (splitting the difference honestly - cross one street in literally either direction and you’re there). The hotel has a neat little entertainment room downstairs with snack machines, tv, couches, and a GIANT table you can use to eat at or play games. The absolute only negative I can say about this hotel was the bed. The beds in my opinion were super firm. Other than that this was probably on of our best hotel stays in a while. Location super convenient with everything even if it is not directly on the boardwalk.
The rooms are very well isolated in terms of sound.
Rooms are clean and the bed was very comfortable.
It had everything we were looking for and we are happy with our stay!!!!
