Fountainhead Towers

This review is specific to the pool area. They have a policy that every person to enter the pool must show a card, which is understandable. I was with my family and we thought it was an access card so we brought one down thinking it would scan us in versus bringing all 6 cards. When we arrived a young blonde girl said we all needed to show one before entering so I sent up my husband to grab them. Minutes later, groups of people poured into the pool without cards and said they were with other groups of people that were already there. I asked the young girl why it was okay for them to walk in without a card, but my mom was standing on the other side of the gate waiting. She instantly had a terrible attitude with me. We went back and forth and I then asked for her manager to sort this out. Minutes later she arrived with a woman and I stepped outside of the pool area to speak with her when she abruptly blew me off storming past me into the pool area to speak with my mother instead of me. She didn’t give me or my mother time to speak as she was angry with us without a conversation because the young girl was actually her daughter. She caused a huge scene and was completely unprofessional. I am sure this is due to the fact that she was managing her own daughter, but if she could not be a grown up and separate business matters then she shouldn’t be supervising her. I paid thousand of dollars to be at this place and it made for an uneasy stay as this happened on the first day. I understand policy, but you cannot pick and choose when to use it and not expect others to question it. Hugely disappointing that such a small matter had to be blown out of proportion. What an embarrassment to your facility.

A great place to vacation in Ocean City. Direct access to the beach, plus a nice pool. The folks who work in the building are also super friendly! There’s a lot of restaurants and other amenities within a few blocks, which is very convenient.

booked though Vacasa but stayed here at the Fountainhead towers and I have to say I was disappointed. , when you walk into the lobby it was nice , and very lovey but as soon as you get to the rooms they were awful and smelly. For one instance, when we got our packet with our keys for the lobby we got a letter apologizing for a missing bed frame because it was broken and one of us had to sleep on the mattress basically on the floor with the box spring , then to find out we needed 1 lobby key per adult to access the pool, we only had 2 keys for the 4 adults staying. They didn't tell us how to unlock the door or how to operate the keypad , that's usually something they tell you if theres more steps than just entering the numbers especially for someone not used to these things they also didnt seem to tell the FountainheadTowers staff anything since they were confused as well they tried to use the lobby key on the lock! I'm assuming this happens with them often as the security gaurd knew EXACTLY what we were coming down for without us saying it! She automatically knew we needed help with the key . For another instance there were tears in the couches outside, tears in the lampshades and a table leg broken off with the nails poking out, and the mattress springs were broken and blankets were thin, there were also rust in the bathroom walls and by the shower head. The chairs outside were also broken . These things need to be inspected before letting anyone in! As per the reason for a late check-in. The apartment was not up to par, please clean better, for the price we paid for cleaning fees you would think it would be cleaned nicer! do not recommend
