Elliott's Tavern

Modern building facade even though inside you can tell it's an old building, but clean and functional. Like a hometown bar with a restaurant in a separate area. Lots of locals in there having lunch..a good sign. The food was made with very fresh ingredients. The side salad was as large as a dinner salad. The fries have a wonderful flavor. Good fried flounder, flakey, cooked perfectly. Hard to find parking out front but it has an easily accessible back door with a parking lot, need to drive to other side of the block.

Old Town Berlin is very touristy so I didn’t expect much. Had the fried oysters and they were pretty greasy and mushy, which happens when the oil isn’t hot enough. Tasted fresh though. Pretty typical food for the area. A bit pricey, mediocre, but not terrible.

3. Burgers - I've never heard anyone ask for a double....... And please don't smash your burger, you might hurt the bacon.....
