Very sketchy place. The room wasn’t very clean, the shower had a gross film on it and was dirty, something was splattered on the wall in the bathroom, the sink faucet lifted up like it wasn’t attached when I turned it on. I accidentally left clothes that meant a lot to me hanging in the bathroom, called a couple hours after we checked out to ask them to hold the clothes for me until I could figure out how to get them, and I kept getting the run around. I expressed how important the items were that I left. Told me they would check with house keeping and to call back in an hour, I called back, told me they didn’t find the clothes yet and to call back when the housekeepers came in the next morning, called back, same story. Called multiple times. They told me they would call me as soon as they spoke with the couple that cleaned my room. Never heard back. I definitely left the clothes there. Pretty sure the housekeepers took them. Very disappointing.

This place is terrible. The GM is a scam artist who fraudulently ran my credit card because he made up a lie and said either my 14 year old Son or myself broke the bed and broke the blinds. We literally were only in the rooms for a hour or two while being awake and only used the rooms to shower and sleep as we were down there on a hunting trip. The tub filled with ankle deep water while using the shower and took two hours to drain. The rooms smelled of mold and mildew. When I called to find out why I was billed an additional $150 after checking out the first two employees I spoke too could not even use the computer system because it was new. Finally I spoke to the GM who accused my son and I of breaking these things and said they were brand new and recently replaced in the last two weeks. If that was a new bed he has to find a new place to buy beds because these beds were the worse beds I have ever laid in. The pillows were actually pretty nice but everything else related to this place is garbage and you should avoid at all cost.

Update to the response.
I reached out prior to leaving this review and you know exactly who I am if the management is who responded. That is unless you claim all of your guest break beds and blinds and you charge their credit cards without notifying the customer and having a conversation. You have my info you, if you want to have another conversation you can reach out to me. I have filed the dispute with my card company and will receive a refund as my son and I who barely spent any time in the room did not break anything. The photo added was of the tub in their “Newly Remodeled Bathroom” after taking a shower.

My spouse and I stayed here end of Summer, early Fall. Our room was cleanish and supposedly "renovated" recently, but immediately noticed painted walls and new faux-wood flooring were the only things that was actually newer. The rest of the room hosted a dirty/old desk chair, dirty wooden desk (even though I try to clean multiple times),old couch from the 90's and mattress from god knows when. The window to outside was coated in a thin layer of white spray paint, the former person took no heed to not get paint on the window in the room from outside.

Room continuously had outside bugs like flies, spiders, fruit flies, potato bugs and a major ant problem in the bathroom. The bathroom featured some updates like a new shower wall but was missing screws on the metal fixtures/safety poles.

Owner was noticably lazy throughout our stay and took no effort to make the patio space clean or accessible since they abandoned all work on having the pool usable (they poured concrete into the old jacuzzi instead of up keeping the space).Trash overflowed for weeks in cans, chairs were broken and grills unsanitary/usable.

There was also no more free breakfast, after a certain time once Summer was over (although is advertised to host year-round).Offerings were cheap from Walmart and often times the area attracted bad fruit flies that no one seem to care about from the lobby trash can..ALSO,the Fox News every morning was obnoxious to hear/see in the main Lobby and breakfast space. As a LBGTQIA person,I didn't feel comfortable coming down to get breakfast after noticing.

Take your money to Motel 6 or Holiday Inn if you're in Pocomoke City looking for somewhere to stay, your money won't be appreciated here and good luck getting any actual amenities.Rooms should be priced half of what they currently are for what is offered.
