Econo Lodge Pocomoke City Hwy 13

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. It’s convenient for me while visiting the area. Yes, the rooms and bathrooms do need updating, fresh paint, wallpaper, faucet in bathroom for tub/shower. I have had issues with the rooms I have been in almost every visit. When I would complain about it to the Manager, he was very nice and accommodating. Once I even had the owner come to the room. I was offered a different room. Also when asking the cleaning lady for an additional towel, and even help contacting the person working the front desk when the door had to be locked while they were busy working the property, she was happy to help. Overall this is a nice place! Better than most I have seen on this stretch of highway.

The gentleman that checked me in was friendly and they lady that gave me towels was super sweet but that’s the only good thing I can say about this place

The room was dirty and smelled like someone dumped bleach to get rid of mildew and mold but barely bc the bath tub was absolutely disgusting. It looked like it had slime mold. There were roaches I killed in the room and I know they weren’t from me. I think the owner needs to focus more on the quality of the place he runs over focusing what I do on a day to day basis. This is definitely the worst econolodge I’ve ever stayed at.

Looking at the other reviews and pictures for this place, I believe I got one of the better rooms, if there are any better rooms. The sofa was so old that I sank to the floor when I sat on it and so filthy and full of stains. Lots of wood rot especially around the air-conditioner. To adjust the air the box is on the wall, but so high up I couldn't use it. The tub, let's just say I waited till I got home. Thankfully I only stayed one night. This place should be condemned. Cannot believe they allow it to stay open.
