Econo Lodge Oceanfront

Location was great close walk to the beach 2pools indoor and outdoor. The rooms could use a update. They're clean I would have liked to see more healthier breakfast options it was waffles, bagels, cereal, muffins, and juic. Overall very nice stay and affordable

Great place to stay. The employees are extremely nice. (And cute) if you want to have full service, they will attend to that.
If you’re like me and just would like to be left alone in a quiet, comfortable room some days, they completely respect that. And for me that’s a huge plus. They also have breakfast and an indoor pool. Honestly, this is probably the best place I’ve stayed in OCMD. Thank you quality inn! And more important, the exceptional staff at work there! :)

5/7 my husband and I check into the hotel even though we were early the front desk said out room was clean. We take out belongings to our room and IMMEDIATELY when we open our door it smells like smoke! Then our floor was dirty like no one had swept it form the pervious person, and when we looked in the bathroom the mirror was dirty to the point that it look like someone brushed their teeth and spit all over the mirror and then it look liked someone popped a pimple on the mirror and left all the blood and stuff all over the mirror. We tried to have someone come and clean the room but they had left for the day. So I saw a sign on the mirror in the bathroom stating if you wanted your room clean you needed to call before 11am the next day, so I told my husband we need to call them in the morning.

5/8 We leave the hotel to go out for the day. My husband calls the front desk around 9am and informed them the front desk from yesterday left us check in early even though the room was dirty and we needed it cleaned today, they said they would clean it and we told them SPECIFICALLY the mirror, the floor and the bed. We get back to the hotel around 4:30pm and guess what they made the bed but did not put new sheets on the bed because the same stains were still on the bed, the mirror was never cleaned and the floor was never cleaned either. So I told my husband that after we were done with dinner we were talking to them. We get back to the front desk around 8pm and I spoke to two night shift workers at the front desk and informed them about everything. The gentlemen that was there said they would give us a refund for the time and they would have someone come and clean our room in the morning. I told them thank you and watched him write all of it down.

5/9 The next morning we wake up around 7am and we were out till 12pm because it started raining. We get back to the hotel and they still HAD NOT touched our room and there was no housekeeping on our floor. We stayed in our till 5pm that day and they never came to our room, they didn't even come to the third floor because we had asked another guest if they came to the room and they said they never came to the third floor. So once again our room was FILTHY.

5/10 We check out of the hotel and the front desk said we were all set. I informed them that on 5/8 the gentleman that was at the front desk that night would give us. refund because it was a TERRIBLE stay and they said they never got a note or anything about this and they would not be sending me a refund. I stood there and we talked back and forth and informed them I would be going to a hire up about this.

I would NEVER EVER recommend this hotel to anyone! I spent 131 a night and I expected my room to be cleaned and it never was. This one sucks.
