Hotel didn’t have any higher balconies beachfront, but the first floor was still great. My lady loved it. We walk out and the sunrise is riding your face. Rooms were super clean. Front Desk was super friendly. The pool was great. Big ice machine outside, which was my favorite.Close to everything and will definitely come back. Thank you for a great place. Best value. And it was on Labor Day weekend.

A wretched cesspool of filth and dangerous black mold (we literally took the time to contact the health department to denounce them)! We rented two rooms on different floors for two nights. We left after the first night even though we had to pay for the second night for two rooms. Black mold everywhere--ceilings, bathrooms, inside the air conditioning unit, on the lamps (see pictures). Sink in bathroom was stopped up. No one had vacuumed. Sheets smelled of previous guests' sweat. Trash near the elevator was very old and never emptied--there were literally flies circling the trash can (this is right by the ice/vending machines). The dishes that were there had lipstick stains on them. The door lock was broken (they had a piece of wood that we were supposed to use to secure the door). The shower head was poorly installed, causing water to shoot straight up from the joint and spray the ceiling (making mold grow, of course). Our toilet also wouldn't flush properly and was essentially like a gas-station toilet. The air conditioning unit didn't properly fit in the wall opening, so air just rushed in constantly from outside. I have never stayed in a worse hotel. The front desk workers are very aware of all this and have memorized lines ready to dismiss you with. I was told that the only people they (the desk workers) had to answer to was the owners (nice customer service, eh?). I was also told that the seasonal housekeeping staff had already left, and therefore there weren't people around to clean. That doesn't explain the long-term maintenance issues. Check out the pictures. Both rooms were like this. Remember, even though you see an extraordinary amount of mold, they had clearly, at some point, tried to paint over the mold--so imagine how much is actually there...I could have posted many many more pictures. Every inch of this hotel was a danger to customers.

Stayed for 4 nights during the recent Oceans Calling festival. To say this place is a dump is an insult to dumps everywhere. A roach ran across the carpet when I opened the door and the room was musty and gross. Mold and dirt on the ceiling, bedspread was visibly stained, bathroom was gross, what looked like roach and rodent droppings in the cabinets, fridge door scrubbed across the nasty carpet, sliding door was separating from the wall, asked for towels and they were put in a garbage bag and hung on the door. The list goes on. Unfortunately, moving to another hotel was not an option as the festival had everything booked up. I also paid an exorbitant amount for this room because of the festival (approximately $400 night). I complained and got an email back saying they were sorry they couldn't "exceed my expectations." What a joke. Avoid at all costs.
