My second time here ... Came to DF last year and both times have been a banger..
You better pick a decent time to go because this place gets rockin..
When you get in .. You get the whole pirates of the caribbean feel.
The food was delicious and warm ..fast ..the drinks were tasty and our server Kenzie was a gorgeous sweetheart.. I liked her casual college girl aura..
Pricey but worth it ....

Definitely a great restaurant for families. The orange creamsicle crush was delicious! And the plastic cup it came in is a fun souvenir to have. There's a good variety of options on the menu. The portions are smaller than expected though. The sandwiches came with a bag of chips and we were hoping for homemade so that was a bit of a bummer. The food came out fast and was hot. It was pretty good. The pasta needed a little salt but otherwise decent. It's a fun place to check out.

Dead Freddies has a fun pirate and marine theme that sets the vibe nicely. The covered outdoor dining area is a real highlight. You can enjoy the breeze without direct sun, which was perfect for our group. Service started strong; our waitress brought water right away, which we really appreciated after a late night out.

However, the food quality was hit or miss across our table. My friend who ordered the crispy chicken sandwich was quite disappointed. She said it tasted rubbery and even looked slightly pink when she bit into it, which is concerning. Another friend enjoyed her seafood wrap overall, though she found the side salad underwhelming. As for my grilled chicken sandwich, it was just average with very little flavor in the chicken breast. I also tried the homemade pasta salad, which ended up being overly creamy.

One practical tip for groups: they don't split checks per table, so plan accordingly if you're coming with multiple parties wanting separate bills.

Overall, the ambiance and location are charming, but the food inconsistency and one questionable order make it hard to recommend without reservations.
