Crab Stop

I'm so happy we came! Owner was the nicest guy ever. We were there before they opened. Got an early start on the cooking. We hung out on his veranda and talked about Ocean City, old friends, and the bills from the world. We took away the best crab cakes and some amazing crabs! Ate in our hotel room, froze the shells for the drive back to Cleveland and just finished making stock for future use! Thanks for the hospitality, conversation, and the delicious meal! If I'm back in Ocean City I will be back!

OMG best place for fresh blue crabs. We have come here for years and always happy with what we get. We always ask to see the crabs so we know what size we are getting. Crabs are alive before cooking on order. Sad I have to say that but other places have served them dead or alive. We ordered jumbo blue crabs and they were huge. Worth every penny and cooked perfectly. Seasoning is the best, ordering extra to bring home. We usually get 6 ears of corn which are little pricey but supports local farms. Prices of crabs are changing daily based on batches that are receiving every morning. $170 for jumbo but they do have smaller which are still really good size. So much bigger and better quality than other local crab spots. I would have 12 really big good ones than endless small ones having to pick throughout. We have been along all east coast and no one has matched Crab stop!!!. Most come by and get some.

Went there today on our vacation hoping for some authentic seafood. Well we weren’t disappointed! The crab legs and shrimp were delicious and seasoned to perfection! As a side we got potato salad. We should have gotten more that is how delicious it was! We are super picky with potato salad but this had to be one of the best we ever had! The friendly service and conversation was an added bonus! Thank you!!
