Carousel Hotel

We enjoy staying at the Carousel. We rent a private condo so I cannot comment on the rooms, but everything else throughout our stay was nice. Everyone that we talked to/encountered were friendly and were not rude. We rent a room that is higher up so we do have a beautiful ocean view. The outdoor pool bar and restaurant are nice. They are pricey but what else can you expect? If you leave and go elsewhere, you pay just as much. It's great to have the option to eat downstairs if you prefer. The hotel has fun things for children to do. We will continue to come back based on our own personal experience.

We went here for years and had a great time, but two years ago it felt the hotel was going downhill. We tried them again and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and the room was more updated, these were the two biggest improvements from two years ago. The noise level is not the best, just closing a door sounds like neighbor is banging on your door. The food is decent and overpriced as expected. Location is great and love the ice rink. The outdoor pool was horrible, this is where they should spend some money expanding. But overall it was a great experience and will come back, it's a nice family friendly place.

Cheap hotel on the strip right on the beach. Good location, lot of things within walking distance notably grocery stores, food outlets and drug stores. I was only here for a two night stay. Service was pretty slow at the front desk to get keys, it took 30 mins because the front desk agent kept going to do other things. Her name was Leidy. Also when I called later to request something she rudely hung up on me. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable and my accomodations were met. I like that they give you a fridge, microwave and coffee amenities. The little cafe is nice as well though I never went to it but it's nice they offer it. The pool and hot tub are standard and do the job. My only big issue is the doors to the rooms don't sit flush when closed. I noticed it on other doors as well but my door had a noticably large gap at the top. This allowed excess noise from the hall to get in.
