Cambria Hotel Ocean City - Bayfront

My review is based on the experience My family and I had on memorial day weekend.
-The rooms are clean, the AC unit only drops to 68 F as the coolest and didnt feel the room ever reached a cool temp.
- The View restaurant on 1st floor closed the kitchen 20 min prior to actual closing time. My wife went downstairs to place an order and was denied food service during memorial weekend. Their kitchen manager was nice enough to comp our meals for breakfast and dinner which was awesome! my 7 yr daughter during breakfast time the next morning found numerous strains of hair in her French toast. We asked the server to send back the dish, as our daughter ate around the pieces that did not contain small strains of hair. As soon as the server brought the food back the kitchen manager was screaming loud enough the entire lobby could hear her frustration with saying nobody had gray color hair. Something must be done about staffing as the kitchen manager seems frustrated and overwhelmed.
- Spain restaurant on the 8 floor is very good and provides great quality service.
- The pool is well kept and clean with a nice size jacuzzi indoors.
- the maid service hours begin at 9 am
- fishing is convenient as the hotel is right off the bay.
Overall, my review is 3 out 5.

Front of house CUSTOMER SERVICE ZERO.
Reprehensible front of house customer service .

The 4 employees working the front check in desk made our stay exceptionally unappealing. Their general dispositions and complete lack of general guest courtesy is unparalleled. Utter REFUSAL to provide parking solution at their personal discretion for no reason other than exercising baseless obstinance.
The hotel overall is exceptionally mid. The elevator inspections are outdated by over a year. The toilet was clogged upon arrival, there is NO HOUSEKEEPING provided not even upon request. The pools are out dated, dirty, and visually unappealing. The main lobby bathroom sink faucet is broken. The management of this hotel should be assessed and addressed.

The roof top restaurant independently operated was excellent. The staff was courteous, helpful, provided parking solutions which the hotel refused to provide despite their exorbitant night rate.

Overall, we really liked the hotel and had a great time. The view from the balcony was stunning. The breakfasts were delicious, the gym and pools were excellent, and there was ample parking. There were a few issues with the room, however. I prefer upper floors and paid extra to ensure we got one; we stayed on the 7th floor, right below the restaurant. There was a constant smell of food in our room, and the carpet was permeated with the odor. The bathroom door was problematic—the lock kept sticking; sometimes it wouldn't close, and twice it latched shut completely, leaving us unable to open it. The room was very cold, and the temperature controls didn't help. The carpeting in both the hallway and the room was rather dirty and needed a thorough cleaning. The fridge didn't work very well and had an unpleasant odor. But all in all, it’s a good hotel.
