Beach Bum West-O

I knew because of the rate to not have high expectations, but I was disappointed. Website photos were better than what it looked like. We had a room in the “forks “ building. No where on the site mentioned we had to bring toiletries or a hair dryer. I had to go buy a hair dryer, shampoo, soap, body wash, paper towels & Kleenex. I had to ask for towels and wash cloths, none in the room! I was a little frustrated! Couldn’t use the Roku that came in the room, they told me Wifi isn’t very good! We had ants which I ignored the first two nights but by the third night they were on the wall and all around the AC unit. I got ant spray from the office.

I stayed here a week before Memorial Day weekend. They have a good selection of cabins or rooms and they are very clean, super priced with a a great location on the West side. This has got to be one of the best places to stay anywhere in West Ocean City!!! I will definitely be back.

We stayed 3 nights in one of the creekside motel rooms with 1 queen bed. Other reviews were correct that the room was small but that wasn't a problem for me or my wife. Our main dislike was the bed was too hard for our liking and whenever either of us laid down it sagged towards the center. The breakfast option was only a frozen breakfast sandwich (microwave available, they didn't make us eat it frozen), box cereal, yogurt, oatmeal and drinks. Other than that it was in a nice quiet location back by the creek. We are already thinking about coming back next year with our child possibly trying a cabin. The only pictures I took on the property was at sunset the one night.
