Beach Bum Inn

I'D GIVE THIS PLACE 10 STARS IF I COULD...

• Beach Bum Inn West is a hidden gem in West O! It's located right on the water and it's charming if you're looking for a little cabin escape, all while being less than 2 miles from the beach!!
• Beach Bum Inn on 3rd is maybe 50 steps away from the boardwalk and beach. I strongly recommend staying at least a couple nights at this location as it's located right next to the boardwalk for lots of daytime/ nighttime fun!
• Jayden and staff were so polite, accommodating and tended to my every need - from making the reservation to after check out!
• Both locations are BEAUTIFUL, **CLEAN** and PERFECT for a SMOOTH getaway to the beach!

I was excited because I saw some good reviews but I should’ve read more. $100 security deposit and I’ve seen people have issues getting it back so Im concerned if I’ll get mine. The fridge smelled like fish bad, Tv was smaller than expected, Tv remote didn’t work, stains on the bedding- (not dirty but not bleached white, we shouldn’t have to smell the sheets and see if it’s clean), the bathroom door was barn door style and the bar was slanted so it was slamming if you didn’t slowly shut it. The WiFi was pretty slow. The “pool” room wasn’t ventilated well and the smell of chlorine was over powering and burning our eyes. The pool can comfortably fit 4 people, it’s only 3 feet deep. It’s more of a big jacuzzi that’s not heated as warm as you’d think for an indoor pool. There’s no built in seats or anything so you just stand in the water and get bored. The shower pressure was alright but could’ve been better. The bathroom sink was very small. Hard to fit stuff for 4 people. The room size itself wasn’t horrible. Got a room for 4 people and only has two seats with the table. The best part was how well the AC worked. The toilet paper was so cheap, I’ve honestly never seen toilet paper so thin. The TP at the boardwalk public restrooms was better than the hotel. They didn’t have a sign for housecleaning so we had to sit the towels and rags outside and hope we got them throughout the day. The walls were pretty thin so we lucked out to be on the top floor. I had to ask for towels and the guy at the front desk told me there was none currently because they’re being cleaned, I went upstairs and the second floor linen closet was open, plenty of clean towels and rags so I went back down and informed him that they do indeed have clean towels. I will not be staying here again

Grear location and room size....leaking AC and bathroom door is crapy. Staff is fake "friendly" ***BEWARE***THEY WILL ATTEMPT TO KEEP YOUR $100 SECURITY DEPOSIT.. they kept mine for having a burner I never used..claiming damage which there was none....worst part is i was there 4 nights but they were sneaky... waiting til checkout to mention this in a really rude demeanor. Pool is more like a jacuzzi, breakfast was less than ok but free ✌️. WILL NEVER BOOK AGAIN.. $850 for 4 nites..I could have done better. NOT KID FRIENDLY AT ALL.
Anyone want to seek legal action on their fraud..I'm in there cause it seems they do this often.
