Beach Bum Inn

Okay full disclosure this hotel is not the lap of luxury but for what it is it is 5 stars. The employees are friendly and responsive. Housekeeping gives you clean towels and toiletries daily. The beds aren't made but that isn't an issue. The pool is small but it's still nice to have. The inn was very clean which we appreciated. You get one parking spot per room which is wonderful considering it's not always easy or cheap to park in Ocean City. It was a quiet place (there is noise from the cars on Baltimore Ave but that isn't the hotel's fault). We got an amazing rate (book directly with the inn and you save) and had a wonderful time. Location wise you're only a block to the boardwalk's 3rd St entrance. I recommend this place if you're looking for an affordable place to sleep while you're in OC.

The only good thing about this inn is the location, the rooms are so small the balcony door was hitting off the bed. The beds are very uncomfortable and they only put two pillows on one of the beds so my son brought his pillow from the car, about an hour after check out the man working the desk called me an said he was charging me $30 for a pillow, asked me why I didn’t inform him we were missing a pillow like I counted the pillows, Ridiculous. Will not be staying here or recommend this place to anyone.

Let’s clarify that you are accusing me of stealing a pillow but clearly in this picture you can see there is NOT 6 of your pillows like you tried to claim on the phone. I tried to explain to you that the bed on the left only had 2 pillows but you must always think you’re right. There is only 5 so who is the liar now my son has two pillows on the bed on the left one is all black and one is black and purple and there is ONLY 2 of your cheap thin hotel pillows behind him. On the other bed there is 3 of your thin pillows and my daughter’s “dirty” pillow. That’s TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Sounds like your cleaning staff should be counting the pillows. Shame on you.

Great stay as always here. Room is always clean, room service is great, & the pool & location right by 3rd St on the Boardwalk are additional bonuses!
