Bad Monkey West OC

Never ate here before. I was disappointed, or should I say we. There were three of us, none of us were blown away. Its got a cool vibe, just don't expect too much from the food. Fries were like they were sitting around for a while before they were served. I don't think I will try again. Plenty of other options in OC.

I really enjoyed this place. I got the bananas foster crepes, and they were really good. They weren't overly sweet, and I couldn't stop eating them. The rest of the family got some basic breakfast items, but even those were really good. The coffee was a little acidic and bitter, and I didn't particularly care for it. We tried to go back for a 2nd visit, and for some reason, they had stopped serving breakfast before 10 am. That caused my star rating to drop down due to disappointment.

We really like this place as a go-to when we just want to have something decent to eat at a decent price. Bad monkey feels that void and the food is actually very decent. We come here two or three times a year since we live in the area and we will be back. Give it a try.
