Assateague Island Tours

Very relaxed beach atmosphere. Marsh lands and beaches are available to observe local wildlife. I highly recommend, as it's much less populated than Ocean City. However, there is a $5.00 fee for the State Park and $25.00 for the National Seashore. The horses and seclusion are worth it though.

We recently visited Assateague Island, Maryland, to celebrate our daughter's 10th birthday, and it exceeded every expectation.
The island is truly a special place. Seeing the famous wild horses roaming freely along the beaches and marshes was an unforgettable experience and something our daughter will remember for the rest of her life. We left with wonderful memories, countless photos, and a deep appreciation for this unique treasure on Maryland's coast. If you're looking for a relaxing escape and a chance to experience nature at its finest, Assateague Island is truly a destination worth visiting.

Great beach, with lots to do, a stones throw away from Ocean city but far enough to be peaceful. The horses add an extra touch of magic that I don’t think you can find anywhere else along the east coast. I recommend bring lots of deet and long sleeve shirt and pants if you decide to camp on the bay side
