Do not ever stay here!! I booked this on a whim last minute knowing the hotel was under construction. Checked in on Thursday evening. Everything was fine other than my room was not oceanview with a balcony like I thought. Friday evening the bar service was terrible. They had one bartender on a sold out Friday night- took almost 45 minutes to even get acknowledged for a drink. After 10 minutes I gave up. My husband made sure I got one though because it was my birthday. Then Saturday- we were informed after inquiring THREE times that there was no hot water until possibly Monday- MONDAY!!! This is unacceptable for a hotel and to not even notify the guests is even worse! We showered at a friend's place Saturday evening and was informed I would receive a 50% discount upon checkout. Sunday when I checked out, there was a list of people due to receive this discount and was told it had to be adjusted manually, that I would be contacted when complete. It is now Thursday (4 days later) and I have not received the refund nor have I been able to get in touch with anyone. Again, DO NOT STAY HERE!

**3.5 stars.
We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. I’ll admit, I booked this trip without doing much research. About 30 minutes before arriving, I read the reviews and instantly regretted my decision. I was expecting the worst.
We arrived around 3:30 p.m. The parking lot was full, so we had to wait for a spot. Check-in told us our room would be about another hour (huge dance competition taking place)but when I checked back about 20 minutes later, our room was ready.
The room was simple with a beachy vibe. The bed made and sheets were clean, bathroom stocked but I did notice a few hairs on the bathroom floor. Netflix wasn’t working, but cable was fine, and it wasn’t a big issue since we weren’t there to watch TV. Housekeeping is by request only, but whenever we asked for extra towels or linens, they arrived within about 15 minutes.
We avoided moving our car because parking was limited, but there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The beach was the highlight of our stay. We brought our own cooler and chairs, rented umbrellas, and spent the entire day relaxing. Beach towels were provided, and servers came by to take drink orders. Service was a little slow, but we didn’t mind.
The Wi-Fi wasn’t great, but honestly, unplugging for a couple of days wasn’t a bad thing.
Would I stay here again? Maybe. If I wanted an affordable beachfront stay, yes. If you’re expecting luxury, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you’re not overly picky and want easy beach access at a reasonable price, it’s worth considering.
After reading the reviews, I expected a terrible experience, but ours was much better than expected. I could tell the staff was doing their best during a very busy holiday weekend, and overall we had a great trip.

Ashore ambiance was amazing. Riley our waitress was so kind and displayed great hospitality. The views are great here, the restaurant and hotel staff are both great. Dishes prepared to great taste. The vodka pasta lumache is to die for. I highly recommend this place.
