Our check-in process was seamless, and Schaea, the counter representative, was exceptionally professional, welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were genuinely delighted to be greeted as Marriott members and to receive the benefits associated with our status.

Throughout our stay, we were warmly greeted by housekeeping staff, as well as Rochian from the general cleaning staff, who kindly gave us instructions on how to navigate the hotel. Each time we passed the front desk, we were greeted with a cheerful “Enjoy your outing” or a hearty “Welcome back to the hotel.” These small gestures made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued throughout our stay.

We did encounter two maintenance issues, which we understood were related to the hotel’s transition from its previous ownership to becoming a Marriott establishment. On both occasions, the front desk attendants, Andrew and Maddy, made us feel as though our requests were their top priority. Each issue was addressed within approximately five minutes of our returning to the room. As a result, there was virtually no interruption to our stay because the maintenance team responded promptly and efficiently.

The issues turned out to be minor items that had not been completed during the transition, such as rebooting the television so that it could display the Marriott member’s name and reconnecting cords located behind the bed. We were very impressed with the level of service provided and believe that grace and patience are certainly warranted as the hotel continues its transition.

The rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, we left thoroughly impressed and completely satisfied with our experience. The exceptional customer service, welcoming atmosphere, and prompt attention to our needs made our stay especially enjoyable.

We are already looking forward to returning and staying with them again next year!

The hotel staff were absolutely fantastic! From the front desk staff, the staff in the eatery to the housekeeping staff they were all pleasant and efficient. The only exception was when I checked in, a manager was discussing a correction with a staff member in front of the guests checking in. He was using a harsh/corrective tone, which should have been done AWAY from guests. The rooms were very clean. There were 2 queen beds in my room. Both needed the mattresses rotated as there was sagging on the side where the center table was. The rooms could also use a lamp on both sides of the queen beds as well as a reading/ lounging chair in the corner. The location is close to restaurants but far enough from the boardwalk to be peaceful. The housekeeper I had on the sixth floor was pleasant and personable. All staff I encountered, at the special events as well as the restaurant and bar were professional, personable and efficient.

We were there for my husbands conference. The hotel staff was very nice. The hotel was very clean. The pool was nice. The wahoo bar made great drinks. The food was good. Unfortunately our bed was like a Herman Munster bed. It had no give and hurt our bodies. The floor was very uneven near my side of the bed. It was buckled and felt like a fun house. The toilet handle was hanging and loose but it still worked. The rest of the room was ok. We've never stayed in a room thats in the area where the elevators are. It could get a little loud with people getting off the elevators. We use a sound machine so it hepled drown out the noise. The view of our room was a side view of the sands hotel and the beach. Im not sure if there's even rooms that face the ocean. We like having a balcony but these weren't balconies. I like how spacious the hotel is inside with the atrium area. Its not a horrible hotel.
