Americana Hotel Oceanfront

We had a great stay here at the Americana. It was ideally situated for the activities we wanted to do. The beach access was excellent and there were numerous places along the boardwalk to roam to from here. We opted for an ocean view balcony which I think was well worth the additional cost. Any time we were in the room, someone was on the balcony. The room was fairly standard two beds, standard bathroom, a mini fridge, countertop and a microwave. Our air conditioning unit was very loud for some reason, and would wake people up in the night when it kicked on, so that was a little bit of a downer. The staff was friendly and said hello everything they saw us in passing. We tried the pool on one of the days and it was nice...its indoors, a little small, but since it was a sunny day and everyone was at the beach we had it to ourselves. Parking could be a problem. We managed to snag a spot in the lot so didn't have to use their auxiliary garage which is a few blocks from the hotel from my understanding, but my recommendation is once you park, don't move your car again. All in all, it was a nice experience. The hotel is a little dated and could use a little refresh, but it didn't ruin our trip by any means. Would come here again just for the views. Great location! Steps away from the beautiful beach and boardwalk! The staff was always friendly and very accommodating! Special shout out to Bree!!! Love her! She worked in the evenings at the front desk and was always smiling and friendly, I felt like I knew her forever! Keep her around and give that girl a raise! The only minor complaint is the slow elevators but it was a busy weekend. Me and the hubby look forward to coming back next year for our 21st anniversary 💕

Decent hotel, friendly staff and clean. Right on the boardwalk close to shops and restaurants. Bed was comfortable. Room was big enough, a little dated but can't beat it for the price. We had a side view balcony on the 5th floor and is wasn't noisy at all. Indoor pool was nice but small. Only bad thing is that you have to pay to park at the property, $10 per night. I would stay here again for a short 3 to 4 day trip.
