Americana Hotel Oceanfront

Location was convenient. The rooms were quite large and clean. The beds were comfy and we had nice view of ocean. However, the bathroom was small and the shower was old and toilet was old and low. The room had a slight musty smell. The hallways also had a musty smell to them. Parking lot was small and tight to maneuver a larger SUV, we ended up parking in adjacent lot about a block away.

We had a nice time with some good and bad experiences. The good the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfy and has a great view. It's right on the boardwalk pretty close to the shops. My complaints would be that the pool is pretty small and when we were in the pool there was 2 women in there drinking and vaping in the indoor pool with kids in there I notified the front desk not sure if they did anything about it though.

It is not handicap accessible unless you want the unmaintained wheels on the cart to roll over sideways trying to get it in the building through the side door that is also the walk path of the public to the board walk. The Room was fair for the price and a nice view. Cleaning staff would leave bags of trash from rooms in the hallways and take all day and evening to get them up. Photos from 9:30 PM at the elevator door. When the toilet doesn't flush from the moment we step in the room and they offer me a plunger to fix it myself, I'll need to find somewhere else to stay.
