Aloft Ocean City

I had my company party here over the weekend. It was such an amazing experience. Madelyn was incredibly professional, hospitable, and really made the planning of the event easy on me. Even when I had some changes, she was very easy to work with. She met me there and showed me around. My event coordinator Stacy was also amazing as was Scott the head of the bartenders. We had a happy hour at the tiki bar, and then the event in the ballroom. Everyone was incredible. And the sunsets were amazing as it is right on the bay. We rented 65 hotel rooms and the rooms were very cute, clean, and very comfortable. With great views all around. I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to host an event.

Disappointed!

There are minimal pros & a lot of cons. The pros: were the location, free coffee , the elevator works& Electric charging station for electric cars( only 2) Con; I requested a room with two queen sized beds. Our room was really for one king sized bed. Another queen sized bed was jammed in the room under the AC and our view was the Parking lot. When I was searching for a hotel, I saw calm and relaxing ocean views. We did not get that.

The bathroom door was a slide farmhouse type door with no locks. I like modern style design; however, this hotel is too funky for my taste. Housekeeping was nonexistent unless requested it . We were there for 5 nights. If we didn’t request it, it would not have happened. We understand staff issues since Covid; we are not asking for daily housekeeping, the last hotel I was in we had housekeeping every other day. Since it’s the summer, the price wasn’t cheap either. To conclude, I will not return to this hotel in particular.

I’ve stayed here a handful of times and it’s become my go-to hotel. Rooms are clean, no bed bugs, and staff is very kind. I really appreciate that it’s not a noisy hotel it’s always been quiet and calm at night during my stays. Very walkable to other restaurants and shops.
