Beach Walk Hotel

I booked a room, was charged over $400 and ended up having to cancel due to health issues. I cancelled withing the free cancellation period for a refund. In fact, if I were to have cancelled today, I would still be waiting the free cancellation period. It has been 17 calendar days and the policy states that refunds would be given within 10-12 calendar days. I have yet to receive a refund or any kind of communication from the hotel. They never answer the phone during business hours and their voicemail is full.. I have messaged them and sent an email with copies of the policy quoted as well as the charge to my account.
If you are considering staying at Beach Walk Hotel or any of it's other accommodations, I would advise you to think again. They can not manage bare bones customer service.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. Bugs covered our wall, dresser and then infested our clothes and luggage. They came up with an ant trap that did nothing. The next night we got to move rooms but then we had to move again because they overbooked the hotel. There are no elevators so we had to carry our luggage up and down stairs a million times because of the problems with various rooms. We called to talk to the manager who was very rude and basically said not my problem about everything. I would not stay here again.

This hotel is less then mediocre but hey what do you expect for a 2 star hotel we didn’t plan on staying in the room much so we opted to save $423 for two nights when we arrived they had to switch the room bc the tv was broken she told me we were upgraded to two beds lol we didn’t need two beds that’s why we booked one. DO NOT STAY HERE as they are robbing people one month after our stay my card was charged 321 dollars there claiming incidental charges. I didn’t even sleep there the first night I only slept there the second night one shower was taken and the kitchenette was never touched I threw my own trash out this room was left in the exact condition it was given I would not recommend staying as they are charging a month later for fraudulent accusations be aware people are really taking advantage these days and now when I call I can’t can’t anyone to call me back about this at all two calls with escalation and no call back
