Join Assateague Coastal Trust and a panel of educators from the UMES Maryland Extension along with Beth Sheppard, Lower Shore Land Trust Restoration Manager and Pollinator Habitat expert, for an engaging and informative workshop focused on the vital role pollinators play in our ecosystems.
At this event, the discussion will include the benefits and importance of planting native species, along with practical, approachable tips for gradually weaning out invasive plants commonly found in home landscapes. (this is an important topic)
The workshop will conclude with a hands-on pressed flower resin craft, led by local artisan Debbi Dean, where participants will create a one-of-a-kind keepsake inspired by nature.
