Crabbing season starts in April and ends on December 31st, but you’ll have the most luck during the warm weather. Assateague Island National Seashore & State Park, the gorgeous strip of land between the Atlantic Ocean and Sinepuxent Bay is an angler’s paradise! Shore fishing is permitted on the beach or at the Marina Pier. Bay fishing is also allowed from boats in designated areas of the bay.
Pocomoke River State Park consists of two areas open for fishing, biking, boating, hiking, and more. Shad Landing is on the south side of the river off Route 113, and Millburn Landing, on the north side of the Pocomoke River on Route 364.
Northside Park in Ocean City is a great spot to spend the day! There’s something fun for everyone with walking trails, athletic fields, the recreation complex, and a public fishing pier.
