I wish I could give even more stars! The manager Chris, front desk Janet, assistant manager Frank, night manager, cleaning lady Amanda, the wonderful breakfast lady, and every other staff member treated us like royalty. We can't wait to go back in September! Walking distance to the Inlet, right on the Boardwalk. Rooms were immaculate. And did I mention the staff💜??? Indoor and outdoor pools that were clean and clear.

My husband and I booked a room here and left within 30 minutes. When we entered room 205 we were smacked in the face with the smell of vomit which was too much to even push through. We called the front desk and complained so they offered us a new room in 203. The new room also smelled like vomit. The desk proceeded to tell us that it wasn’t vomit that we were smelling and it was only the cleaning chemicals. However I work in an emergency department so I clearly know what vomit smells like. We decided to leave and stay at the Grand Hotel instead. Which was a much better experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked it through booking.com and after this poor experience I decided to look at the reviews which stated that many other rooms smelled like vomit as well, along with photos of bed bugs and roaches found inside of the rooms.

This is one of the CLEANEST hotels we've ever stayed in. Pepe and Dorthy don't play around when it comes to cleanliness. I swear, even the shower curtain looked brand new.

ALL of the staff were pleasant and outgoing. I really enjoyed staying in the building with the pool and getting to talk to the employees.

Don't even get me started on that indoor, heated pool. The whole pool area was immaculate. Hoses nicely arranged on the wall, not a speck of trash anywhere. The restrooms and changing rooms were spotless and not grungy. It turned our rainy weekend into a tropical get away.

I don't know how comfort inn employs so many meticulous and detail oriented people! I should delete this review so we don't have competition for rooms but I'd like the staff to be acknowledged for their hard work :)
