Exceptionally clean campground and facilities. It's about 20 minutes to everything (beach, town, etc.), so consider that. If quieter and away from the congestion is what you're looking for, this campground fits the bill. The RV sites were pretty spacious and well marked. We do wish they had activities for the kids at the pavilion throughout the week and not just Thusday, Friday and Saturday's. We'd consider coming back.

Great family vacation spot! And the price was great! I wish I knew about this when my kid was younger! We would have booked here often! We stayed in the cottages near the lake. It was a family reunion of sorts where a few of us got cottages. I was pleasantly surprised. The pool was very clean and had nice tables and umbrellas for shade. The screened in porch was so nice! There's a real family feel to the people staying there - so kids and families, riding bikes and scooters, enjoying the place, but nothing rowdy or annoying. Super dog friendly! The water park access was great! We loved the lazy river and the kids loved the water slides.
It's 15-20 min to everything - water park, beaches etc. One day we went to ocmd beach near boardwalk, one day to assateague. We didn't use the shuttle, but it's an option on certain days.
The cottage was not fancy, you really do need to bring everything - pillows, sheets, blankets, towels for bathing and for beach/pool, washcloths, etc. If you're cooking, there's a stove top, with pots and pans, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, but bring seasonings and everything you might need to use for cooking, bring coffee filters too! The grill is very small. Like something at a park. We had a family member bring their Blackstone. I wouldn't imagine we would have used the grill otherwise.
I wish I brought a mattress cover. The bed has a plastic cover that made it hot and uncomfortable. It was not my favorite sleeping on that. But it was comfortable otherwise. You couldn't use the pillows they include - definitely bring your own!
The smaller second bedroom had a very thin mattress. Good for a little kid but not for teens or adults. My son slept on the couch. The twin sheets fit that nicely and it wasn't too uncomfortable. We didn't use the pull out. That didn't look comfy.
There's just one small table inside and that's it. I brought a little side camp table - I wish I brought a few. They also don't have hooks for drying things - like not even on the back of doors. I saw a person bring a drying rack. If we return, I'd do the same.
They have a feature where you can call to have ice or fire wood delivered. That was cool!
Pro tip - Ocmd beaches - check you're near a restroom before you set up your spot! They do not have porta potties strategically placed. We had to walk a long distance for that which was brutal in the heat.
100% great place to go! For the cost, it's a great trip! Just bring everything - there's also a Walmart and other stores not very far if you forget something.

Started going while my husband and I were dating .And it’s become one of my favorite places to vacation in the dmv . Went from a campsite to a bare-bones cabin, to a deluxe cabin waterfront and each, and every experience has been wonderful. We enjoy the resort the amenities and especially the waterpark. The rooms are clean. The only thing that I can say is when staying in the deluxe campsite the community bathrooms needed to be cleaned more now where they horrible absolutely not. Did they need a little bit more maintenance during the Heavy times of the year yes. The location you cant beat and it’s quiet and family orientated. The bare-bones cabin was clean and the deluxe cabin was clean as well with a screened in porch driveway and barbecue. Would I recommend 110% Yes. Been coming here for over six years and will continue.
