Sun Outdoors Ocean City

While the location of this campground is great, the overall experience was disappointing. The bathrooms and showers were filthy, and it's obvious they aren't cleaned often enough. On multiple occasions, there was no toilet paper, and I frequently noticed trash and messes in the bathrooms that remained uncleaned for nearly 24 hours. This proves they don't prioritize cleanliness, which is unacceptable considering the high prices they charge. Since we were camping in a camper van, clean showers and toilets were essential, but unfortunately, they didn't meet even the most basic standards of hygiene.

Additionally, the campground was far from quiet. Teens were racing around on scooters and golf carts, blasting loud music until midnight. As a family, we understand that kids need to have fun, but there should be rules in place to ensure safety and peace for all campers. To make matters worse, the campground store thought it was a brilliant idea to sell cap guns. The sound of cap guns going off became part of the nightly background noise, sometimes until midnight. Cap shells were scattered everywhere—on bathroom floors, roads, and even the basketball court.

This place is out of control, and it's clear that management needs to step in and take action. For the price they charge, they should prioritize cleanliness, safety, and maintaining a peaceful environment for all guests.

We stayed here for 5 days. Loved the location, close to ocean city, Berlin and Assateague island. Full hook up sites. Had a beach and dog beach. Has a fresh water dog wash area which was so nice! Has a great friendly atmosphere, they ladies at the front desk at check in were so kind and friendly to our dog. We will be coming back!

Great campground on the water, perfect for families with kids & dogs, or couples like us! I highly recommend getting an Oasis spot so you can walk to the beach, but you can also rent a golf cart or bike. Easy ride to the boardwalk & local attractions, and it’s nice to stay outside the very busy areas. Very peaceful at the campground. Laundry rooms were okay, shower rooms were okay. It’s definitely a bit more rustic, similar to a water park bathroom. VERY dog friendly, they even have wash stations and a dog beach!! The maintenance man helped us back in, everyone’s so friendly and helpful. Incredible bacon egg & cheese sandwiches for breakfast, and the lunch was pretty good too. We will definitely be back again!
