Love this place, especially during off season. A tiny home with all the amenities and a great location. On site staff (Chuck) was friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel safe that management was so close by. OCMD always great for dining and shopping. Lots of places open during off season plus Shore Point offers discounts which makes the total value outstanding!

It was such a pleasant stay the property is very well maintained. Cottage was very clean staff members were wonderful. It’s a nice tranquil place to escape the busy city life. It’s about a 10 to 15 minute drive to the boardwalk and main attractions in the area. There is plenty of fast food options in the area as well. My family and I will definitely be staying here again when I visit the OC.

At first, everything about Shore Point Cottages seemed great. The cottage was small but surprisingly spacious. It was basically an upgraded trailer home but it was just enough for our family’s little beach getaway. The location was convenient too: close enough to the beach, away from the chaos, and right next to the outlets. The property is also pet-friendly, which we thought was a plus.
But once we settled in, we started noticing issues. The floors had yellow stains all over the linoleum, which looked like old dog pee that had never been properly cleaned. That already felt disappointing, but it got worse. On the last night, I realized that what I thought were mosquito bites were actually bedbug bites. They left me covered in huge, itchy welts. We sent photos of the bugs to management, but after their “investigation,” they claimed they didn’t find anything and flat-out refused to give us a refund. To make it worse, they essentially implied we were lying, which was frustrating, insulting, and honestly shocking.
This is extremely disappointing because we were impressed with the setup at first and had even talked about returning. But between the lack of cleanliness, the bedbug situation, and management’s refusal to take accountability, I can’t recommend staying here.
