Fantastic experience. The facility looks small, but when you enter inside, it is big, with different allocated areas for wealth of information and interactive areas for different activities. Fascinating, I could spent an entire day there. NASA should get more funding for the kind of work the agency does, Amazing!! It's free admission, open Saturdays.

I can't believe this place was free! There was so much to do. It provided fun for all ages. I wish the lookout area had a better view though. My only complaint is the lady at the gift shop was too busy chatting ( about where she went to school) instead of waiting on customers. When my baby started to cry and I was trying to calm him, she said in a very rude tone "thanks for waiting." She could have easily paused the conversation and waited on us or rang us out as she talked.

I had the chance to visit the NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center in Virginia Beach, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by everything this place had to offer.

Engaging Exhibits:The Visitor Center is packed with fascinating exhibits about aeronautics, rockets, scientific balloons, and more. Each display is engaging and informative, making it easy to soak in all the cool space science. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into curating these exhibits, and it shows.

Science on a Sphere: One of the highlights for me was the Science on a Sphere Theater. This immersive experience uses a spherical display to showcase weather patterns, ocean currents, and planetary movements in a way that's both educational and visually stunning. It's perfect for families and anyone who loves learning about our planet and beyond.

Awesome Observation Deck: The observation deck is a must-visit spot at the Visitor Center. It offers breathtaking views of the launch pads and the surrounding area. If you're lucky enough to be there during a rocket launch, you'll get an amazing vantage point. The deck is comfortable and well-designed for optimal viewing.

Fun Programs and Tours: The Visitor Center hosts a variety of free public programs, events, and group tours. These are fantastic opportunities to get a behind-the-scenes look at NASA's work. The staff are super knowledgeable and passionate, making the tours both educational and fun.

Cool Souvenirs: Don't forget to check out the gift shop! It has a great selection of NASA-themed souvenirs, from models and patches to games and clothing. It's the perfect place to pick up a memento of your visit or a gift for a fellow space enthusiast.

Overall Vibe:My visit to the NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center was nothing short of amazing. The combination of engaging exhibits, stunning views, and friendly staff made for a truly memorable experience. Whether you're a space nerd or just curious about NASA's work, this Visitor Center is a must-see.

Conclusion: If you're in Virginia Beach, make sure to visit the NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center. It's a fantastic place to learn about space exploration, enjoy beautiful views, and experience the excitement of NASA's work. Admission is free, so there's no reason not to check it out. I'll definitely be back and recommending it to everyone I know!
