I read some bad and some good reviews. I decided to try it myself. I wasn’t let down. Prices are fair, portions are good. House salsa and chips come to your table with the meal. We ordered queso which was very good. They have Dos Equis on tap and some nice mixed drinks. My wife and daughter got portabella fajitas, my other daughter got a chimichanga and I got steak fajitas. Everything was good and our waitress was nice as well as attentive to our table. I’d do this again.

Amazing!!! Our group enjoyed the Chile Relleno, the steak fajitas, the steak tacos, guacamole, and fried ice cream....each dish was incredible. Flavored perfect and filling. Definitely going to be another one of my 'spots' when I'm in town.
The owner is so sweet as well as the servers!

I’ve heard that the 28th street location was amazing, so I thought I’d try this one. Keep driving folks, it’s not worth it. I’ve been more satisfied about a 7-eleven corn dog than the culinary travesty I was served here tonight.
We were seated promptly at a wobbly table, but whatever. It took 10 minutes for the server to take our drink order. My margarita was pathetic. It was basically an undercover lime slushy, where one wedge of lime was used to flavor the ice. It was served in a pub glass for some reason.
I’m usually pretty patient for service and food (especially post covid) but we waited 55 minutes for 2 burritos. When they arrived, the beans were so cold the cheese thrown on top wasn’t melted. The rubbery tortilla of my chimichanga was no longer crunchy and felt like I was cutting into a balloon. I think our food was just sitting in the back somewhere for a half hour.
The rice was under cooked and there was a ridiculous amount of cumin on everything.
Most tex-mex is well worth the GI distress. Not this time. I blame the sea of black beans worthy of Poseidon’s rule.
End.
