Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ocean City

As I have seen at many of the hotel locations, desk staff appeared under trained and less then enthusiastic about there job. Breakfast facilities were a little less then perfect, and needed attention. Desk clerk on second day hadn't set up a second pot of coffee. Pancake maker not working, toaster not working, I could see if the hotel was packed to capacity, but just the opposite was the case. I will forward this info to the company we made reservations with and let them deal with it. The facility seemed clean but follow up to insure all guests were taken care of in a timely manner. Don't advertise that certain facilities sre available and then not follow through! Being out of season is no excuse!

Great place to stay. I say 4/5 stars because we stayed at a competitor hotel in the same price range with similar amenities. For our needs we like the other one better. But, it might not be the same for everyone. Below are the big differences:
This hotel put a $75 hold. The other, $1.
This hotel had waffles, bagels, and muffins for breakfast. The other had eggs, sausage, and pancakes.
This hotel had an outdoor pool with hot tub. The other had an indoor pool.
This hotel had more amenities in room, like a closet, and kitchen sink. The other hotel had standard rooms.
Both had WONDERFUL staff and were very clean.
Check in and check out were very easy.

I gave 4 stars only because the breakfast sucks waffle everyday and I'm big on breakfast it's the most important meal of the day ya dig. However the rooms are very clean and pretty good I would stay here again the location is great just a few minutes drive to the boardwalk where all the action is over all pretty good despite the breakfast issue ya dig!!!!!!!!
