Great location and view, staff needs better trained.
Great location on the boardwalk.
The view from the direct ocean front rooms is very nice.
We typically come down each spring and fall.
(Partial ocean views look mostly at the hotels next door, but you can see the ocean as well. I have never tried any other rooms there.)
This latest booking…
The reservation/desk staff need to better trained and better informed and some of them could be kinder.
I made an online reservation and then needed to make a change/addition to it.
The ladies did a poor job, duplicated the deposit charges and raised the rate on me (all in the same hour of the same day while bringing them more business.)
These ladies didn’t just make mistakes (everyone does), but they also refused to admit them, raised their voice to me, were disrespectful and refused to look into the matter fully.
It took me 4 days of phone calls, with different people telling me things that directly contradicted each other. Each call made things worse.
Then, it took several email exchanges, with proof from my bank to get the issue resolved.
Finally a kind, respectful, gentleman manager called me and straightened everything out (the rates and deposits are now correct) and I am looking forward to our upcoming visit.

I really wanted to enjoy this stay because the hotel itself offers a lot of amenities, and from the outside it appears to be a nicer property. Unfortunately, the actual room experience was very disappointing, especially for the price paid for a Friday and Saturday stay.
The first issue started immediately when I tried to take a shower around 11:00 p.m. The shower head made an extremely loud whistling/screaming noise. I went down to the front desk and was told there was no maintenance on duty, which I completely understand at that hour. However, no one followed up in the morning. I called again at 7:00 a.m. to remind them. When I finally went downstairs around 9:00 a.m., I was told no one had relayed the message. To their credit, once I spoke to them directly, maintenance arrived within about five minutes and worked on it for roughly 30 minutes, trying two different shower heads until it seemed fixed. Unfortunately, when I went to shower again, the loud noise returned.
On top of that, the TV remote barely works. It lights up but doesn’t properly change channels, the volume hardly responds, and there’s some kind of LED input block flashing on the screen that won’t clear. Pressing “OK” just switches channels and moves the block to another part of the screen. It’s frustrating to relax in the room when basic things don’t function correctly.
The heating system is also very loud when it kicks on, enough to wake you up during the night. The walls are thin, so you can hear quite a bit from neighboring rooms. Sleep was hard to come by. The beds are rough and uncomfortable, the pillows are very basic, and the bedding feels low quality. For the money being charged, I expected far better accommodations and comfort.
Cleanliness was another concern. I found two hairs in the bathtub, and the room had a musty smell rather than a fresh, clean scent. The rooms overall feel very basic and not what you would expect for the price point.
Even the exterior left something to be desired. The parking lot wasn’t very tidy, and near the main entrance there were paper towels, Chick-fil-A food containers, a mug, and other items left sitting around all night into the next morning. For a hotel presenting itself as upscale, that was surprising.
I will say the maintenance staff member who responded was prompt and polite, and the hotel does offer good amenities. However, the condition and comfort of the room itself did not match the cost. I hope management addresses these issues because with better room quality and attention to detail, this property could live up to its potential.

Place is terrible i was saying in a room and next door i had people up till 3am i have kids all night they were doing 18+ things talking about squirting and inappropriate things. Not the best place to stay i complained multiple times and they did nothing. Would not recommend staying. And when the front desk says that people need to quiet down by 10pm. NOT RIGHT!!! Then i went to the bar and waited almost 2 hours for my food, they had the janitors working the bar as they did not have enough staff terrible service.
I WOULD NOT STAY HERE!!!!!
Only thing that is good is the views that is it!
