Club Ocean Villa II Timeshare

It was a great place to stay, although some pet peeves about the room when staying there was that they definitely need updating on the place. It has really nice amenities, but the personality of a place definitely comes out of the design which needs some improvement. Although overall the environment was clean, the shower slide doors is one of the things that really needs to be cleaned. Overall great place to stay for location!

We stayed at Club Ocean Villas II for a beach getaway. The positive side is that the location is fantastic—so close to the beach, great restaurants, and having access to both an indoor and outdoor pool was a huge plus. The one-bedroom unit itself was cute and the perfect size for our stay.
​However, our arrival was incredibly stressful. After driving over 3 hours, we arrived to find the management office completely closed. What made this frustrating is that we had called ahead specifically to let them know we would be arriving late, and no one bothered to tell us the closed-office protocol. To make matters worse, the contact number listed on the RCI website was disconnected (RCI absolutely needs to update this so others don't face the same issue). After 45 minutes of panic and trying multiple numbers, a helpful lifeguard finally gave us the number for the HOA president, who was able to get us in touch with the timeshare management.
​Once inside, we hit a couple more snags. The pullout sofa sleeper was broken and wouldn't unfold at all, forcing us to go out and buy an AeroBed just so everyone had a place to sleep. Also, after unpacking and walking around, we realized the bottoms of our feet were completely black—the floors definitely need a deep mopping.
​It's a nice spot if you can get past the communication and maintenance hiccups, but management seriously needs to streamline their late arrival process and verify their contact info

Apon arrival, after driving 10hrs we were greeted by a room that stunk of Marijuana, and debris and hair all over the floor. Housekeeping was called and did respond with a can of airfreshner and a offer to "reclean" the floors, stating she was sorry and there short staffed. Needless to say it should have been done correctly the first time..... Then comes day 2 where my room keys were somehow deactivated leaving us stuck on the patio for over an hr waiting for an on call worker to come and help.....
Again great Location...
POOR HOUSEKEEPING AND MANAGEMENT.... and now hrs after I leave the review I'm being denied access to the pool because mngr didn't leave access key in my room... and there's nobody here till tomorrow.. if i could give negative stars they would definitely be a recipient.
